I do like 3 because of the love story behind it, part 2, (This one) for the comedy.Part 3 was supposed to cater to femmes, BUT 4 and 5 went straight down the toilet. I was really excited to see this, but unfortunately it's not with the original soundtrack which is FAR superior! It's unwatchable with this updated and ultra crappy soundtrack. Now, you get the theatrical version uploaded... then you'll have something! You have great taste in movies though.

The real version with the original soundtrack is actually posted here on youtube, but it's in nine parts.

Romero made several films such as DAWN, DAY of dead.The other writer, John Russo, drafted a script to a new film (which was heavily altered) Return of the Living Dead (1985)...That film, made in 1985, THIS film here is the sequel to that film. @thefunbuns1 No. This is is from a different director, Russo. Russo did work with Romero on the original Night of the Living Dead, but then they went separate way. You can tell the difference between the classic Romero zombies Vs. Ruso's zombies. ALL of Romero zombies are the slow walking types while Russos are the chasing/running type. Russo did the remake of Dawn of the Dead 2004 version. There is a remake of Night of the Living Dead. it stars tony todd, made in the 1990s :)

@monumentalpictures actually the only thing I am wrong about was his involvement in the 2004 remake. I am Correct about my first statement that Romero and Russo went their separate ways. Russo wrote the novel that was adapted into this film. Romero retained rights to the Living Dead Titles while Russo retained rights to the Living Dead titles. Russo does retain a story writer credit for the film. So to say that he had nothing to do with this film is not 100% correct on your part.

That is exactly what I said or at least implied. The 2004 Dawn of the Dead was a remake of the 1978 Dawn of the Dead. However, the 2004 version sucked and was made for a gay audience that wanted to see zombies run like sprinters.
