Alicia Keys has the most unique voice. She can change the texture of her voice, making it raspy, gritty, bright, dark, and crystal clear. She has a beautiful timbre and a great emotive style of singing. She can emote while playing the piano, which is difficult to do. Belting with power and emotion at the piano is amazing! She is soulful, deep, and a profound artist. She stays true to herself and that's what I mostly respect about her. Alicia Keys #FTW

I love Alicia's vocals, but I don't care for her voice that much. I really like her low notes, & her belting. I love her belting in "How Come You Don't Call Me", she be SLAYING! I didn't know you didn't care for Christina's belting, I love it. She strains, but I love it, just like I love Alicia's (Even thou I prefer Christina's voice more)

@greatmusic1001 i dont think shes underrated at all. She has 14 grammys which i think is ridiculous. but she is great compared to the overrated popular singers out now like Rihanna, Kesha, Katy Perry....etc .

@MCLAMB4LIFE1 Her having 14 Grammys is not ridiculous because she is very talented. She can compose her own music and one of the few pop stars that can read sheet music. She has a very soulful and emotive voice and of course she is better than some of the singers in her generation.
