I think the US should maintain a neutral position in this war. The US should withdraw financial and military aid from Israel. It isn't any of our business and not our problem. American lives and money should not go to lost causes to religious extremists

There is no point in protesting or getting involved in this. Israel will eventually invade Gaza, Hamas will cease to exist then Israel will leave Gaza to a pro-Israel or another form of govt. There is no way to change the course of events that will happen. The Jews and Muslims will continue to be at each other's throats. As soon as they kill each other off the best it will be for us. Yeah, we are all humans but we need to save the ones we can. We shouldn't worry about these nut cases.

We already know how this is going to turn out. Israel wins and nothing big happens. There is no use protesting it, Israel will continue to bomb Gaza until Hamas ceases to exist. The Obama administration will continue funding for Israel. There is nothing we can do. All we can do is hope they don't send us. Nothing is worth a life especially fighting a war that will not benefit us or threaten us. Its like when Bush invaded Iraq because he has daddy issues

I'm not sure how your negative assessment of the prospects in Palestine is relevant to my points. I'm not suggesting the US descend on the scene to "fix" it. All I've said is that your "look out for our own" mindset is logically incoherent. All the peoples of the world are "our own." That doesn't mean we have to send in the military every time there's a conflict somewhere. I'm completely against that, but I'm equally against insular isolationism and wall-building. We can't retreat into a vacuum.

You're right, we are all human beings and I shouldn't fall into that mindset. Any war is stupid and the men and women who use it as a solution should be put in prison. No cause is worth dying for.
