It literally has jacks to plug in communications headphones because that's the only way to talk. Why? Because there's pretty much nothing between you and the worlds most powerful naturally aspirated engine. THAT, is loud.
The best sounding Ford V8 was in the original GT 40 race car. The Shelby Cobra, since it exhaust pipes were on the sides, sounded louder. But they weren't race tuned, you lose some hp. LOve both cars, no doubt.
One note though: above 5252 rpm (technically, it's "above 16,500/pi" rpm), the horsepower number is *always* larger than the (lbs-ft) torque number; below that rpm, the horsepower number is *always* smaller than the (lbs-ft) torque number -- and at that rpm, the horsepower and (lbs-ft) torque numbers are *exactly* equal. Always. Without exception.
SWEET! It's great to see US muscle cars raping the Queen's Highway in the UK. Sadly I only had a 5 litre 3rd gen Trans Am (engine blew, couldn't afford another real car.......so far!), but I lived a little part of the American Dream :)

Whichever one has the broadest highest torque curve in all probabilty although as you say, weight is the balancing factor. A single HP figure means very little in reality, your Civic is probably producing that at high revs only, with a poor torque performance lower down the range, your V8 Transam will be the opposite.
I noticed that you were off the gas when you started your acceleration. That 66 cobra could jolt 0-60 probably between 3.4-3.7 secs. if tail end can be pinned down though 4.0 is bad enough.
@th3Bl00dfu3l3d an original 427 shelby can go for 750k to a million dollars. But when AC cobra went bust the original owner of this car bought them out and had 4 original shells and decided to build them to the original conditions. This car sold in late 09 for 195k pounds (360k dollars) and was then sold again in germany for a reported 225k (400k dollars). In all honesty u cant put a price on these cars there values are changing daily.
It's a rep. True 427's are like the remaining Enzo's. Unbelievable, short production run cars. The problem is that a lot easier to spoof the Cobra then the Enzo, It's great that these people can make great cars. But they're just not the originals. What would Carroll and Enzo say.....

Enzo I'm not sure. Either way those cars are far too exclusive and cost way too much anyway. Being able to replicate for a fraction of the cost I think is a great thing. Giving access to many more people rather than a select few with really fat wallets who like to show off :)

@frankisfunny2007 the movie was made with a sony ericsson k800i so hardly a HD video recorder. I went out in this car not anticipating filming the journey so thats the reason behind the awful video quality but at the end of the day its about the car. the answer to that is yes and no... the car was made much more recently using nothing but original parts from the "66 cobra so it is an actual cobra but not made in that year.
