I know dozens--probably hundreds--of high school dropouts who finally got their education and got jobs through Goodwill. I refer people to them on a daily basis.
The Salvation Army has been known to throw away donated Harry Potter toys for being anti-Christian. Goodwill, on the other hand, will take your donations and DO GOOD. Donate your time, money, and unwanted stuff to them. And buy new used stuff from their stores while you're there.
I was surprised and very happy to see them on P4A.
