  • wal-mart isn't exploiting anyone. It is safe to say that those workers probably are better off with the wal-mart being in their country than the wal-mart not being in china. Thats how the United states started off in the late 19th century early 20th century , and we turned out fine. Wal-mart was already growing as a business way before the Clintons moved to Washington.

  • you idiot. wal mart is fucking COMMUNISM/STATISM

    wake the fuck up!

  • How so? They are not forcing you to buy their goods. Maybe you've been awake too long and you should probably take a long rest or switch to de-caff buddy.

  • yes they ARE!

they get special privileges on land and tax write offs. they use chinese labor. the only reason they're able to "underbid" local independent business' is because they had their goods made for 15 CENTS while the independent American shop owner had his goods made by Americans for a Dollar fifty!

and then wal mart only has to charge a Dollar 25 even though they're making their goods at 15 cents an item and they have a MONOPOLY! aren't anarchists supposed to be AGAINST monopolies!!!?

  • If wal-mart were not present in many small towns, local monopolies would jack up the prices of the goods you bought. If wal-mart were soo evil, people shouldn't shopped there. There are far more superior businesses that not only provide a wider variety of goods, but they also provides those goods at cheaper prices(amazon, ebay, etc.)

  • go get em hacks!

  • If an entity becomes a monopoly, it is by transferring goods/services with properties that are valued by individuals voluntarily choosing to acquire said goods/services in exchange for something of "value" each individual holds.

"Because they need shit" Most of what Wal-Mart sells you do not need. People are voluntarily digging their grave

Even if one entity owns virtually all industries in a hypothetical society, the rest of "society" can gain power by collectively bargaining/boycotting.

  • I don't care what you call it.

People need to be able to make the decisions for a change.

  • What I hate the most is these Ancaps/Vulgarlibs dont' even care by which the land becomes the land becomes "legitimate".

Kill of the indigenous you say?

Thats cool, just don't disturb Walmart's property rights.

    Enslave africans you say?

Its ok, it happened a couple hundred years ago, my property is "legitimate" of course.

Is property "legit" just when you happen to come upon it?

    No matter the historical cost?

Statism is not the answer, but neither is capitalism unchecked.

  • Are they defending walmart? Oh for fucks sake I hope not. I've seen it on the tubes before but I expect better from noextort.

  • in my part of the country, we're still all about mom and pop shops, and you gotta drive out to the burbs where the IQ average and gene pool mix goes down to find a wal mart.

but having travelled all over, i know the disease that is the outdoor strip mall, filled with nothing but fortune 500 chain store corps.

not to say we are completely free of that, and i know it will eat whats left soon enough, too.
