  • I LOVE this scene <3 Jean Louis Barrault is so talented.

  • An old (very old) "scene": The rich against the frail and defenseless...

But this time the human poetry to the rescue...

    Wonderful !!!

  • scène trop touchante,superbes acteurs!

  • Wonderful this extract

  • will never tire of arletty and jean louis barrault in this romantic epic

  • I've seen this film dozens of times. It continues to be my favorite. Well done, all.

  • Memories for Tomorrow was a very good book, I agree. One can see how Barrault's harsh young life and exposure to communists formed his later years. I only wish he had come to the Lord and learned the downfalls of communism. I remain, artistically speaking, one of his biggest fans.

  • One of the best scenes in any movie ever - Merveilleux!!!

  • Great double take at 2.50

I recommend Jean-Louis Barrault's memoir "Memories for Tomorrow'

  • Perhaps the first time in my life where I was attracted to a man not for his boastful strength of body, but for his force of expression~

?Perhaps someone could tell me of more pantomime films?

  • I almost agree with Petoreupa .One of my top five movies .Or one of the top one ?

Is it a movie or a deligt ?Yes, it's a movie. thank you...

  • "Pourquoi, mystèèèèèèèèèèère" hahahha

I had the chance, the honor to meet Marcel Carné once...

And this is one of the more memorable scenes(actually they all are).
