yea the beats are a ripoff, they're alright but not standard quality and definitely not recommended for studio monitoring. dre marketed the shit out of those though, and i bet he made a killer profit. i'm working with the ath-m50's right now they've been doing me justice but i'd like to venture out into other products. gonna make the k240 mk2 purchase right now to get my self an xmas present. thanks for the reply, happy holidays
