conveter x is a life saver, downloaded movie the other day with no sound, used conveterx and hey presto.it sorted the audio and i burned it on to dvd ,thanx darkclone81,you truly are the chosen one..
Burning at lowest speed guarantees skip-free viewing of movie. As with burning any type of disc, burning at the lowest possible speed decreases the chance of sectors in the disc being skipped which makes for a better and more accurate burn.
In addition, as long as there is no problem with the audio codec and format of the original file that you are burning, you should have no problems with playback audio on a dvd player once the dvd is burned.
Are you using a blank dvd-r disc? Disc that already have files on them cannot be burned to using this software. Also if you have a Divx enabled dvd player, you might want to think about burning video files as a data disc using imgburn or some similiar software. This will allow you to burn multiple files to the same disc without having to convert to dvd format. Converting files increases the size limiting the amount of files that will fit.
If the sum of the files only at up to 2.4gb you should have no problem fitting onto 1 dvd-r 4.7 disc. Just keep in mind that each files' quality, size, and the number of files affect the quality of the finished product. I.E. more files, less quality, Bigger file size, less quality. The only exception to this rule is if your burning a BD-rip that is 4.2 in size will fit onto disc and have excellent quality. Play with playlist to find optimal viewing quality.

im having a problem. when i click convert it says theres a problem that theres not enough free space left in folder "E:\outputFolder" any help please????
Check the spaceon your hard drive. for each movie converted you need ~5gb of hdd space as a working folder to convert the file in dvd format. Keep in mind tho that in the settings menu, you have to option to delete the contents of the working folder, regaining to space used for the conversion. This will allow you to later use the same space for converting another video file
And I forgot to ask... For some reason my videos will not hit excellent quality for conversion result. It stays on good. Am I able to change settings to where it will be Excellent quality or is it saying that because of the quality of the movie before wards? Sorry.. Just got it

i was wondering could you use a DVD-RW disk for burning? I highly assume that only a DVD -R disk is a requirement for standalone player but not sure.
williambrown007 2 years ago
You could burn it on a dvd-rw but it will only be able to be played on a computer. For Dvd players, use dvd-/+r
