  • Jimmy Holmes is an incredible singer. Once you hear him, you'll never forget him. I just wish there were more recordings of him once this version of the Ink Spots disbanded.

  • Superb! Learned this song in high school chorus circa 1968, loved it.

  • i like that they start the same.

  • Wish I could sing , and could sign this to Dennise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If music like this only played to the radio nowadays, there wouldn't be anywhere near the number of problems in the world that there are now. It really is a shame that artists like gaga or lil wayne get millions of views.

  • i see how the platters were influenced by this group.

  • Every single fucking song sounds the same! that dont make them bad, still epic :D

  • No kidding? Fuck yourself.

  • 2 people who disliked are fags.

  • so relaxing... feels like i should be staring wistfully out a window into a bright summer day with children laughing and playing in the background...

  • Every singer today WISHES they had this voice.

    EvEnkUD

  • hmm.. this must have inspired "Strange Paradise" by Bond

  • huey long died just a year ago.

    i wish i had met him ;)

  • @evilmamaluigi Someday we'll meet all of them. Just enjoy the music and history they gave you.

  • noiz87-- hint yhis is record # 1304 on the King label and it was released in 1954 not 1934

  • klassik

  • Real fine. Thanks very much.

  • I love this group.........great singers!!

  • bloody awesome

  • That guy has got a hell of a voice man. Held that last note for like 8 seconds and did not break pitch at all.

  • king records since 1304? hahah now that's some serious oldschool right there :)

hint: it's since 1934 for anyone wondering

  • Still get chills on so many phrases after hearing it so many times. Just amazing.

  • great song great voice great singer

  • this would fit so well when you find "paradise" sign in fallout 3 , and then the radio pipboy plays this song ,

  • @jmm1233 what is paradise in fallout 3 i forgot

  • I just wonder that why does all the songs have a similiar intro?

  • Why not? It's kind of like a signature lick. You know right away usually who it is.

  • Just asking mate, I'm not against it.

  • what a fantastic voice.. could someone tell me whose is it?

  • They tried to get "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" as the theme song for the ORIGINAL Fallout, but had some legal issues so they had to SETTLE with "Maybe". So "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" is the true Fallout theme.

I would have though a "z0mg troo fallout fan/douche" such as yourself would have known that.

  • @DaUziel Haters gotta hate. I 'spose.

  • haha everyone who has played FALLOUT3 is hooked on the ink spots hahaha like everyone i know haha they are so cool

  • Just like skilledarcher im one of those game nerds that got to love ink spots from fallout 3. A bit sad, but its opened my mind to new music other than the almost generic rock and alt. that everyone listens to.

  • same way with me buddy its a great world isnt it?

  • I love the ink spots (and i'm only 21) mostly thanks to a video game called FALLOUT 3.

  • I've never been the first person to comment before! Oh, well gosh! What do I say? I love the Ink Spots, and I'm a teenage System of a Down fan. That's saying something! If you, the reader of this comment, are of good will, then God Bless you!

  • lol

  • @Vainblade
