he's her boyfriend and he needed a new heart but they wouldn't give it to him unless his condition worsened so she cut his wire so that he would get worse so that he could get the heart.

okej, Denny (the guy) is ging to die if he dont get a new heart. but there is somebody else in a nother hospital that alsow need a new heart. so If denny gets wors, (almost die) he will get the heart insted of that other person. so Izzy (the girl who works at the hospital and alsow is dennys girlfriend) cuts the wire that kept him aliwe so that he can get the new heart so that he can live later. get it? :s I´ts quete complicated... but cute :)
