Spore Galactic Adventures Animations Gone!

its so sad that this game has been forgotten, or that it doesn't have the proper number of ppl playing it, i see great potential in this game, but im afraid maxis and EA closed their doors to this game... the creator of spore left EA so that might have been the problem :(

I found the problem. there is a hidden folder called programdata. you need to show the hidden files and folders to get to it or just go to the bar thar shows the path and type, C:/programdata/ then press enter. note i have gone to the eiectronic arts folder in programdata and deleted it. then reinstall spore and the stuff with it. then Yay animation works, i am running windows 7, i don't know about xp or the dreded vista(bad windows OS by the way upgrade to 7).

I tried everything there is, I just can't find the way to Galactic Adventures work with patch 1.5/1.5.1/1.6.

Maybe I missing something pretty obvious. EA fkced this one up.

That method i describe works only with the following

*spore base crack 1.5.1

*Galatic Adventures crack 1.4

Note: There is no crack for Galactic Adventures 1.1.1 aka 1.5/1.5.1/1.6

1. install spore base

2. install patch 1.01-1.02

3. Install Creepy and Cute

4. Install patch 1.03-1.04

5. Install Galactic adventures

6. Install patch 1.5/1.5.1/1.6

*For base spore use crack 1.5.1 by battery

*For galactic adventures use crack by reloaded

*Go to your galactic adventures data folder delete EP1_PatchData.package

Then go to your spore base data and copy Spore_Game.package to your galactic adventures data folder.

you dont need to install 1.5................just instal GA and the setup will tell u to update to latest patch and its 1.4 and use the crack of skidrow

Let's see how it worked (or rather not) for me:

1. Patch 1.5 is incompatible with CACP installation, yet you can install it after you've got CACP (CACP needs Patch 1.2)

2. GA requires an installed CACP

3. Patch 1.5 fucks up animation in GA, you would rather install it befor GA

4. Patch 1.5 is absolutely necessary, as it fixes the random tribal stage crashes which - I believe - is the consequence of having CACP installed

My order of installation

1. SPORE core

2. P1.2, CACP

3. P1.5

4. GA

Correction:

5. GA does NOT require CACP installed, you only need to have Patch 1.4

6. Even if you install GA after Patch 1.5 you won't have any subtle animation (however major glitches can be corrected with various miracles)

7. Patch 1.4 also have a Spore Card Corruption Debug, so (if not for CACP) it works just fine

Alltogether, you have to put up without CACP, and everything runs smoothly

1. SPORE core

2. P1.4

3 GA (skidrow, imcluding P1.4 crack)

i have this problem too.

That F*****g glide animation instead of walking,makes me really angry.

i'm tired to play with creatures that:they cannot walk,sing,speak,attack,.

how can i enjoy the game with that stupid animation problem?

and it not only affects the creatures but even your empire and when you contact a planet,they don't speak,breath or any other movement.

CAn someone REALLY help with this?

You'd really like that your spore do that with your's PC? i'm going mad with this problem.

there is a way to partially fix animations in ga 1.5, however you can't pick ANYTHING up, but there are some animations. so it sucks.

i just noticed this shit in my spore GA to.. (i only have spore +S GA) its fucking anoying when u pay like me i payed just 3 days ago 10 euro eatch for them and then i worked for a WHOLE FUCKING DAY!! trying to fix all this shit.... i can play spore (normal one) if i dont patch but when i try to patch it to 5.1 when the game ask for patching it say i need to close spore but then i cant and i freeking tear my hair off.. and then on S GA it uppdate it to 4.0 and it work well and then.. animations

I just reinstalled Spore with all the expansions on my new comp and the same thing happened to me. I'll uninstall and reinstall the game and see if it works

@Alexones1 oh and i discovered 2 glitches/bug 1. i make captain to pick up items,give item or take item it takes 5-15 seconds for that AND has no pick up item or give/take animation for it. 2. if my captain has the shield thing (you know when you get attacked you lose energy) but when my energy was low i picked up the energy bonus and refilled my energy AFTER i got attacked my energy went down to the 0 when it was 2000....is there way to fix it or cannot fix it? i did everything you said:

i installed the game, then the patches (all of them), then the rest of the games, then

the 1.51 crack of battery (regular spore)

then ga crack of skidrow (Spore: Galactic Adventures v3.0 [MULTI16] No-DVD/Fixed EXE #2 on gamecopyworld)

now the animations work but I STILL CANT GET ON THE VEHICLES AND THATS WHAT I WANT!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH! :(

damn 3 years and still no crack for spore GA :(

happened to me too

applied patch 1.5.1 but there is no crack to galactic adventures(1.1) yet. just to the base game

no one made a crack to this verson and LOTS of people have his problem because the last crack avaliable to Galactic adventures is to the 3.0 patch

This happens for everyone who Installed a patch with the Incorrect crack, it happened to me when i installed the patch 1.05 and used a 1.04 Crack, to fix it reinstall spore galactic adventures :)

I have this same problem too! It looks like the newest patch fucks up GA. The Core Spore works fine, but the GA expansion.... there has no animations at all!

Mine just takes 7 seconds to move in creature editors, and when playing core spore in GA (cell stage for example) the old Regular spore animations won't work.
