After demoing all types (14 pair) of skis for 2 years I bought the MX 78's this season, yes a little pricey but a all around great ski. You can let them run and they hold at high speeds without the chatter, you can pull as tight turns as you want and I skied them in deep powder at Aspen, Vail and Mammoth. The only bad thing I have to say about these skis are they are a BAD ASS all around ski.

Used the RX's this year in Mayerhofen loved them, bit pricey though 1k.

Have fun finding those white skis in 2 feet of fresh pow....I can imagine its as fun as looking for a green golf ball.
