  • nope, not faked. ever seen the video of merckx on rollers? about the same.

  • Looks about 180rpm.

  • Nope, not faked. Top sprinters reach 200+rpm cadence. Plus no video artifacts.

Nice interval, Marco. I never had the balls to wind out on rollers. It was all LSD for me.

  • top sprinters are around 120cadence, they relay more on strenght than rpm. Im not talking about Track sprinters.

  • Video is not fake.i train on rollers as well and with a track bike(fixed gear). The type of excercise that i do is mostly high cadence(high rpm) just like the guy in this video. rollers improve greatly your balance .you learn to ride very still and your pedaling stroke becomes very efficient . its a bit scary at first but with time you will be as still as if you were on a fluid trainer. and they are not boring like the stationary ones that you hook up to the rear wheel.they keep you on your toes.

  • Hey tards. Exactly how would you edit this video to make his legs appear faster than they are actually moving? And why in hell would anyone do that? If you have ever edited film/video, you know this video is obviously not doctored.

  • All you have to do is speed up the video or shoot at a different speed. That's what they do in car chase scenes in movies. Watch a Chaplin movie.

  • i gotta get a pair of those rollers

  • This is all possible on rollers. I came from bmx into road bikes and this is good balance not typcical of road riders. But is is possible!

  • This video is edited.

  • what is that ~200 rpm?

  • video edition... fake

  • The rider Marco is a commonwealth games medalists and former lead out man for Maclean and Hoy in their Team Sprint efforts. He does not need to fake it. However I guess you know better and can conclusively say it is faked.

  • Does anyone still use rollers? They always struck me as a bit dangerous - are they hard to stay on?

  • These are emotion rollers. They have a selfcentring devive that allows the rollers to move with the rider. because of this you can stand up, sprint, ride no hands. In short they are fantastic. Have a look at my other videos and you will see what they guys can do on them.
