  • she's still got her chops---so many rock singers voices just fade--she's great!!

  • Welcome back Agnetha!!!! Missed you!!

  • Original version was not Pet Clark but The Ray Charles Singers in 1964 .Original Spanish song was by a Spanish group in 1960 .The Batchelors had a UK hit with it in `64 . This Version By Agnetha for me is the definitive one .Lovely song by a lovely lady .She is back to her best on this one .

  • everything she does is great

ME SORPRENDIO

  • I think that, instead of the whop, . . . whop, . . . whop in continuous brutalization of the snare, as is sometimes done a brush would have retained the gentility of the lyrics, . . .

  • Can you give me the lyrics of this song sung by Connie Francis, including the Italian part of the lyrics, because I cannot find the Italian lyrics part? Please help.

  • Cute. Sp

  • Anyone heard Ken Dodd?

  • @roumlig1944

    Singing what...Taxman?

  • @QueenReigns1 Hoh, hoh, hoh, that's so funny if a blindingly obvious joke. Ken said that when it was invented Income tax was 2d in the pound (old pence) and that he thought it still was.

  • Just brilliant like everything she as ever done

  • WHITE MAGNOLIA

  • Einfach TOLL!!!:-)))

  • Sings and looks like an angel. It's funny, I never cared for this song. Now it is one of my favorites I think. All the music on the "My Colouring Book" cd was arranged by Agnetha, so of course it is perfect - like her. There will never be another like her.

  • SHE STILL SINGS LIKE AN ANGEL!

  • it dont matter who you are you bust up with the one who you think is for you an whammo its all gone

  • clasic agnetha! love it

  • She is still a great singer.......Beautifull too!

  • How in the world can this beautiful woman still retain her voice AFTER not recording for 17 years? Also, how in the world has she learned to sing in so many languages?

It's hard to believe that this woman looks so much better than when she was with ABBA!

  • great !!!!!! She's the best! "

  • @Adamus70 Thank you for participating in an important matter! Unfortunately my poor english does not let me in all sort out. I need a quality translation into Russian.

  • At 60, she's still beautiful. And her voice is as wonderful as ever. Agnetha forever!

  • Wonderful singing! ♫ Here is the heart of any fan of Agneta beats faster.(((❤)))

Thank you ✿⊱╮for uploading and sharing.

  • Nice! I liked her version of the song.

  • klasse song

  • Just wonderful to learn that Agnetha is recording again

  • wonderful version

  • This song has the same kind of style like her songs before her ABBA era. It's very nice.

  • It was impressed.

I feel the sea somewhere in this song.

Is an original tune Connie Francis?

  • The original is by Petula Clark, though Connie Francis was the singer that inspired Agnetha the most during her youth and she based her style on Connie! There's a lot of information about this song and album beneath the video. It used to be at the side and easily visible until youtube changed the layout a few months ago for no reason.

  • @naoyuki54 is a spanish song of los hermanos rigual , cubans .

  • Agnetha has only love in her heart. She is a lovely girl, hummelity, nice and sweet!!

    I love you sens 1967..kiss!!!

  • @christer1947ify No, the original was recording by The Bachelors 1964, long ago Agnetha was realized that song. But she make this song really charmant!

  • Bella versione...

    Ciao

    Grazie

  • Wonderful

  • love..what's it good for? Maybe quite everything!

  • even here in I would think maybe late 40s her smile and beautiful cheekbones still move me ,I was a big fan of ABBA in the mid 70s and still she is a woman I will always wish I couldve met

  • @GrooveDoctor77 At the height of Abba fame,Agnetha was just about the most fanciable woman around.

  • for you !

  • esta mujer es divina.....yo la ame, la amo y la amare toda mi vida......i love you agnetha so much...a lot more than you think...edward....from barranquilla colombia

  • Listen you Spanish-speakers: there is a Z in "Me estremezco".

Estremecerse is like conocer in that it takes a "zco" in the first-person singular.

Let's get excited (to the point of shuddering, what a great verb) the right way.

    — a Spanish teacher

  • demasiado puntilloso!!

  • Agnetha, if you ever know.

  • "Ámame con todo tu corazón" (love me with all your heart) in Spain, this song is also known as "Cuando calienta el sol" (when the sun warms up)

  • this is an old song, maybe from the 60s.....but it sounds real good sang by agnetha

  • Correction: after "is to pelo "(it's your hair) She sings' "son tus besos" (it's your kisses). For anyone who speaks Spanish really well, Its sounds as if she says "son dos besos, which would change the translation to " it's two kisses" you have to listen closely though to catch this minute detail. Any Spanish speakers out there that agree?

    jeje

  • I tell you one thing, she put everything she had into this song. I wish there was a video of her performing this particular version. By the way, if you were to translate the Spanish verse literally it would be " It's your palpitations, it's your face, it's your hair, I get extremely excited.

Palpitar is loosely translated as (palpitation/heartbeats)

    Cara is face

    Pelo is hair

Estremesco is a state of extreme excitement

  • Thanks for the post. Redo of the great hit by Ray Charles, the real one not that piano screamer, who had a group the Ray Charles singers, much in the manner of Ray Conniff.

  • beautiful

  • Can soebody please translate the spanish for me? :P

  • I've had a go:

"Its your heart, its your face

its your hair, to your kisses

    I shake ... a-a-ah"

  • Es tu palpitar (It's your heartbeat)

    es tu cara(is your face)

    es tu pelo(it's your hair)

    son tus besos(are your kisses)

me extremesco( I get excited) oh,oh,oh

  • @Bwaaderent My native language is Spanish so I think this is the correct translation:

    It's your heartbeat,

    It's your face,

    It's your hair,

    It's your kisses,

    I shake, aaaah~

  • Wonderful song by a wonderful woman! Thanks for sharing!

  • Yes this is strong emotional singing by Agnetha as only she can! I've only just noticed your comment in my channel. I do have the vid you mention with Agnetha doing her bit for air force recruitment by climbing into a SAAB Draken cockpit and will upload it fairly soon - cheers from John!

  • excellent

  • Yes Agnetha's singing is as good as ever!

  • Thanks - I'm doing well lately, and your Swedish is excellent!

  • I've done "Kanske Var Min Kind Lite Het" and "Manga Ganger An" by Agnetha too recently - more Swedish for you from her successful pre-Abba solo career!

  • One of my favourite songs from the 60's, this is without doubt the best version ever.

    Absolutely brilliant Agnetha.

  • @12cornishmen What a wonderful version, first time I have heard it, thanks for posting this one. BTW have you listened to Englebert's rendition? it is pretty amazing

  • Waw! really amazing song and voice.

I loooooove the Spanish part, as I speak Spanish myself, and it sounds great!

  • thanks Agnetha for keeping that verse in spanish; in despite of what you said, you could never sing wrong. Hi John, cheers from Francisco

  • Love it....

  • Agnetha is a classic as much as this song she does so well. Her wonderful voice is in a class by itself.

  • I love this version so much, well done Agnetha, You still the best.,

  • WHAT A VOICE!!! AMAZING. AGNETHA manage's 2 top the original's. NOT an easy job. 'BEAUTIFUL SONG'. Thanx 4 the posting.X

  • Sounds like you're having a great time discovering these classic 60's songs superbly interpreted by Agnetha on her My Coloring Book cd. Her singing range is exceptional and highly emotional!

  • Very romantic song my friend, awesome:)

    Always

    carina

  • this is best version I have ever heard.

    Viva la Agnetha!!

  • I'll be damned! this song is one of the greatest songs on that golden era of 60s!

it even has spanish adaptation, in fact the little bit she sings in spanish is part of the spanish lyrics too, if talk about singers comebacks this has to be the mother of all the comebacks, no doubt a great album from such lovely lady Agnetha Faltskog :)

  • This has to rank up there as one of her best ballads.

  • I agree, there is nobody better at singing love songs passionately than Agnetha!

  • I'm back here again I couldn't think of a more perfect way to start a day,the word's say it all.

  • Yes this is a very romantic song Di, the words are straight to the point.

  • Great pic of a Radiant Aggie from the MCB sessions John

Every track has so much love an care put into it Thanks for the info

  • Agnetha makes every MCB track a work of art to be treasured Shay. Yes she's certainly looking happy in that nice colourful dress, I guess she's glad all the hard work is done.

  • If only she could be persuaded to record again

I guess the songs would have to be just right

she would not put out something just for the sake of it

  • Yes Agnetha is a perfectionist Shay. The best we can hope for is MCB volume 2, using the songs that just missed out the first time. I can't see her writing anything new anymore.

  • my mum taught me how to "slow-dance" to this. sweet memories....jus super thanx....

  • Cheers Fiona, I guess this song was a favorite of many mums in the 60's.

  • Lovely song just Aggy knows to sing like this

  • You're right Matilda, Agnetha pitches her voice just right for dramatic effect, without overdoing it.

  • Up and up goes this melody and finally you feel almost flying in the air...

How to get back John? :)

  • Sorry Laura, you can't come down just yet, I've got plenty more to keep you floating on air!

  • omg, anyway thank you, lol

  • excellent story i think the singing is beter, calm secure and warm atmosphere it certainly is and has passed on those deep impressions best with the lights turned down, lovely

  • Yes I had to delve a bit for this info Bill. Agnetha prefers the privacy of her farm, so she wanted similar privacy to recommence recording. The familiar Atlantis studio where Abba began offered that privacy. Benny's old piano is still there. I've got the lights off now Bill to listen to this song, Agnetha sings with great passion as always.

  • Fantastic, this song has alway's been special to me,couldn't think of a better way to start the day

  • You're very welcome Di. Agnetha really puts her heart into singing this classic.

  • Wow, this is almost an identical to Petula Clark's version on her "International Hits" album. Is that Spanish or Italian in the middle, Petula does that too.

  • Hi Dave, yes you're right this interpretation is based on Petula Clark's version, with Spanish in the middle. Click on "more" in top right window (under About This Video) and there is a paragraph in which Agnetha acknowledges Petula's version of this song.

  • Oh lovley abbafanglosuk; thank you. Really interesting.... and the Spanish lyric too. Great or ..........muy bien!!!

  • It's John from Cheltenham, Glos (hence the username). I'm doing Abba and Agnetha vids. Which UK town are you from Dave?
