Tutter... it would be better with more melee dps because atm when i play rvr there is always like 2 tanks getting healed by 10 healers with a couple of ranged dps protecting them... it's so annoying

Interesting game... But WAR's losing customers already. Many servers are ghost towns, many others are drastically imbalanced.

Oh and this preview actually showed blood... Something that got censored, even on the US release. What a shame.

The Hammerer was removed from the game upon release, and likely is never coming back. I think people want to see the Slayer more.

The slayer will probably NEVER make it into a playable class just due to Lore.

Slayer's fight to die. Dying on the field of battle is their main focus. So, why would a Slayer fight, and want to be ressed? There is no way any of the Lore Fanboi's will allow the slayer to be a playable class.

Lore 'fanbois' will never allow the slayer to be a playable class huh? If you've read the Warhammer Alliance forums, you'd know right off the bat that what you said is non-sensical. From what I have seen, the lore fanboys have made every effort to provide a reason for Slayers to actually BE in game.

Slayers fight to die, so what? Slayers respawning in battle is no different from any other class doing the same. The developers of this game have already made lore changing decisions with the DOK.

In addition to what I have said: Dwarfs hold to oaths stronger than anything. Even Slayers who continue to make oaths strive to hold them lest they be dishonoured even further. Now the topic of resurrection- it fits. If a Slayer has made an oath to protect someone, something, or something related, I am sure he would prefer to be brought back to life in order to fulfill that oath before his actual passing. It wouldn't be hard to integrate this common knowledge into the game just to add Slayers.

In addition, if you've read any of the Slayer books, you'd know that some Slayers do prefer to be brought back to life. In the case of Gotrek Gurnisson, who was slain by a catapulted boulder during the second Chaos siege on Praag, and later resurrected by a priest of Shallya..he recovers saying that his many conquests had not yielded him a death of honour- and was rejected upon entering the Halls of Ancestors.He stated that he preferred to die against a more worthy opponent to restore his honor.

the reason is just , that the balance atm alowes no more melee DPS players because everyone want to play melee dps, without thinking about other classes wich are cool also. and its today like 90% melee on chaos side and it yould be 99% if there would be a chopper, maybe same on order side. so im sad too,w anted to play a hammerer but if i think about balance today and balance WITH more mlee DPS im happy, there are no choppers today.

Umm, what you said is a load of crap. The Choppa and Hammerer (Along with the Blackguard and Knight of the Blazing Sun) were cut out of the game because the devs felt they weren't ready yet, they had alot of bugged skills, and the mechanic wasnt just right at that time. So they decided to work some more on them, and release them later. As of this moment, Blackguard and Knight of the Blazing Sun are available, and Choppa and Hammerer/Slayer will be available in one of the next patches.

The Dwarf Hammerer, the Dark Elf Blackguard, the Orc Choppa, and the Empire Knight of the Blazing Sun are cancelled. Also. The Empire and Chaos capital cities are the only ones that will be in the game at launch. BAD NEWS.

Hey, do you know or have you heard any rumors as to If and when these 4 classes will ever be implemented in the future?

Personally, I don't like the fact the Empire and Dark Elves DO NOT HAVE A PLAYABLE TANK CLASS. Also, the Dwarves and BOTH Greenskin races are without Melee DPS classes. This is lame. BUT, the most lame of all this is the fact that If you desire to play an Orc, theres just 1 class you can choose from whereas the Goblins have two..

You cant really feel the loss of the class's while playing, the only way they change gameplay is that you see more people that look similar. There are not any major fights in t1 that you cant complete without a balanced group.

I think Im gonna go with hammerers. I just wish they had more info and videos on them! My choices would be Hammerer, WP, and WL for order and BO, chosen, DoK for destruction. when open beta comes my way I guess Ill find out which will be my main. Im hoping hammerer is as fun as we all hope haha

I'm afraid they're out of the game. Mark Jacobs decided they weren't GREAT! So's the knight of the blazing sun, choppa and Black guard... Same reason... And they really weren't! i mean the knight was supposed to work like a chosen, and he didnt have a freakin horse and a lance! not good... definately not good. The hammerer was a bounce-berserker guy, while in warhammer he's the lords trusted bodyguard, standing his ground to the last. and blackguard was just plain dumb, couse teaming up
