Actually, I lived in Italy for 11 years and know people who suffered under WW2 Fascism and Nazism. Misuse of such strong language by news broadcasters, as in Chris Matthews' calling the Clinton "fascist", just renders Mr. Matthews irrelevant to thoughtful and educated Americans - just as irrelevant as Bill O'Reilly or Rush Limbaugh. Fascism is a sociopolitical system, a corporate-based system, with a leader with dictatorial power. He could have said she is being dictatorial or authoritarian, but dragging imagery of Mussonlini into the discussion should be reserved for discussions on Guiliani.
