At first on the test jumps we used a rope tied to the back of the go-kart, so we could find it.

Then on the big jump it worked that the driver stays on top of the go-kart until the boat comes to fish it out.

@LUVMYDOG21 Yes it's not good for an engine to run in water,but this small Honda engine proved to be pretty tough.

After each jump we had to remove all the water in the engine, we drained the oil and dried out the carburetor.

After about 10 min we would have the engine running again.
