@haroldfangbar The Sesame Street characters are Muppets too. Jim Henson was paid by CTW to provide the characters for them. After Henson died he appeared less on SS. SS bought the characters in 2001, ending their relationship with JHC and Kermit. Disney bought The Muppets in 2004. The Jim Henson Company still makes the puppets for both.
