I have not grown watermelon yet, I do not have room for this at the moment but I plan to in the very near future, everything else I've grown hydroponically with great success. when I had the grapes in the hydroponic system on the second year I get 3 gallons of grapes. I thought that was great. next year I'm changing variety of grapes.I think I'm going to do some big eating grapes.see all the little videos on YouTube under the name hydropond I think I have like 24 videos.
by the way, have you ever grown watermelon before? Next year I am planning to have tons of plants. Corn, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, peppers, maybe baby corn, watermelon, cucumber, beans, chives, and maybe grapes and chard. And at our cabin I am going to grow, blueberries, raspberries, pears, apples (already growing), cherries, blackberries, asperigus, watermelon, and who knows what else. And this fall I will grow onions, chives, garlic, and lettuce.
Well we only have 18 becuase we started late. My corn sizes range from 4-5 feet. Seriously I have a giant one. Now 12 of them have silks and they are turning brown. My stalks have around two, but the other ones have yet to show the silks. Also the stems on the side grow some corn too.
now all you have to do is keep the bugs from eating your corn. How many plants did you plant? how many did you get on each plant? and How tall are your plans now?
i also build systems and i could be wrong but might have a PH issue and it could be the corn strain but when some plants show purple color when it should be green ,they are magnesium deficient
great job, o how did you keep your roots from burning up out side? chiller?
Thanks very much for posting this video! Now that the root mass question has been answered, I can try crop staggering or block mixing. Boy, I hope this works!
Thank you for making this video. Some people do not have access to land or need to work indoors in the winter and something like this would be useful. What is the cause of the striping on the leaves? Is it a nutritional deficiency?
