I'm the kind of nut who actually read the Reason manual and recalls parts of it. No offense James but honestly; you sound like you're merely reciting the manual to us. Your introduction of the wavetable osc. is almost a literal quote of page 210. And quite frankly I think Thor deserves way better than that.

@ShelLuser well then your one in a thousand that does read the manual and gets something out of it, not everybody is like you with a photographic memory that can read and recall, this is why JB does these tutorials, is to bolster what the manuals recite but in video form, since MOST beginners DON'T read the manual, we have these videos and JB to thank for translating these elementary concepts on the synths in reason to us beginners... I for one read it, but get more from videos.

Thor best softsynth but thor not have unison effect......

@ilkerrap it does multioscillator is a oscillator specially made for that , and if you want you could use the unison effet un16 !!

As DJ Grazba said.. you have options for a Unison effect... the UN-16.. or pack multiple Thors into a combinator (unlimited.. only limited by your processor speed) and detune each one..
