Im one of Buddys biggest fans, ive even got the man tattooed on my arm and i think its a quality version, obviously not having the same simple crisp sounding appeal, but so fuck! The man wouldve been buzzing to think that a band as big as the stones would pay homage to him, so i say fair play to Kieth for keeping the memory alive, we need more people to do this and it rocks anyway!
Trying to hard to go back to their American roots and their just too old and boring. Buddy did this one as a demo in his NYC apt before leaving for the Winter Dance party, he never returned, Petty put the production behind it...sorry RS stick to Chuck Berry?
Gosh. Somebody in cyberspace who actually knows what they're talking about. You're the one, Hoctor, that I'd always choose. But like another buddy Holly fan used to say: You're in the wrong place my friend, you better leave
No way, Rockman, this was great! I was at the show, and the song was very much of the moment. Keith playing tribute to Buddy Holly with a completely new tune worked up spontaneously backstage, and you're griping! Guess he could have played "Happy" for the 3000th time instead...get real. A wonderful tune for a wonderful evening...
Good for the Stones
Anyway I was at school with KR and they come from Dartford so cannot be bad !!

This is a great interpretation of a Buddy Holly gem. If you don't like this, then you don't like Rock and Roll.
