Hi, my name is Doug and I am fairly new the the video editing software outside of windows movie maker. I have narrowed my search down to two programs. One being Serif MoviePlus X5 and of course the Adobe Premier Elements 9 or 8. Prob 9 if I am going to buy. What are your thoughts. It seems to me that you get more bang for your buck with Adobe PE. Also seems to be more advanced.

when i try to use the youtube upload button through online sharing within program it tries to upload in prel format whichyoutube doesnt recognize. what do i do? thumbs up if you have the same problem.

When I try to import any kind of media, whether it be video, audio, or pictures, I cannot simply drag and drop it into Premiere Elements 9. I must always click the 'get media' button and manually search for it on my computer. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

When I try to import a AVI-file, i get the response "this type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed". Does anybody know the solution for this problem?

Cheap yet nice program! I have Sony Vegas movie studios on my pc right now. Whenever I upgrade to a better pc I'm getting this! Sony Vegas Movie Studios + Premiere Elements is the best was to go for the price! Especially if you know how to take advantage of two programs...

PRE is absolute rubbish. My 5 year old Pinnacle runs better than this. I am disgusted with this shoddy piece of work from Adobe.

Hi, I've downloaded the Trail of PE9. My camcorder can record in 1080/50p, but I see PE9 only can export a film in 1080/30i. Do you notice the quality difference when you've made a movie or can't you see the difference between the movie and the raw file?

Yeah, it's more like Sony Vegas than Premiere Pro. If you're a beginner, do not shell out for premiere pro, use elements or vegas.

how does this rune FULL HD media, element 8 does not what so ever , i have tried on 3 different computers, i ncluding my i7, 8G RAM, 3ghz prossesor, it does work with HD media, have they improved the rendering on HD media?
