My old home town - This railway yard used to be one of the busiest on the coast - a lot of timber was loaded here - the mills are now all gone and so has the rail business...

They could never decide what colours the XPT really should be, I have somewhere on video tape, the XPT in its original colours of red and white with chrome from 1991, I must dig it out and add it to my collection of XPT vids.

Can't you just tell it's got a paxman engine? Not as loud as the original valenta, but I'd rather a VP185 than a MTU!!!
