I too have that New Year's Resolution, April!! Loosing Weight!! I want to loose a goal of 35-40lbs. I am trying to do this by June 1st, because I want to be looking fierce by the summer!!!Also while you are in the gym, try doing Weight Watchers because you can eat what you want, but just in small portions, and you don't have to subject yourself into not having that special treat you like!! That is what I am doing also with the gym and home exercise videos included!! I exercise 4 times a wk.

I agree. The bangs were cut too short. Usually, you don't see your eyebrows when you have bangs. Once the eyebrows are exposed, the bangs are too short. I think a swooped bang would have been great on this unit!

I love the review. I feel you on the gym. A few years ago I was into the gym hardcore. I sweat like crazy too. Other than pulling my natural hair back, I couldn't do anything with it. The trade off was worth it because I lost weigh but my hair was always a mess. Keep us updated on your experiences with hair and the gym!

@muffinismylovers everyone is different but I can tell you the key to losing weight for me was no carbs (ie bread, real sugar, potatos). Lots of H2O (between 70oz-90oz) daily, no alcohol, and drinking only diet/splenda based soda/juices. Portions are EVERYTHING! I hate weighing my food so I eyeball it. Weight Watchers is good with portion pictures. Rule of thumb was to shop the perimeter of the grocery store (produce/meats/dairy). PLEASE BELIEVE IT WAS TOUGH AT FIRST! (Part I)

@muffinismylovers Sweating is great and is a sign of exertion, using energy. Now I started off slow, walking until it became too easy. I saw people jogging and I wanted to give it a try. Its intimating at first but I did it. Jogging gave EXCELLENT results. The gym can sometimes be intimating at first but keep it up. A great rule of thumb to start is 30 minutes on cardio/30 minutes of circuit weights. Please keep me updated on your progress.(Part II)

@muffinismylovers if you workout every other day then eat 1200 cals a day and workout 60 mins when you workout .i lost 12 pounds last month doing that even with chrismas and new years. i workout 30 mins a day though everyday.

@tlh090670 - The 6 week body Makeover worked for me too! I lost 20lbs on that and up until 3 months ago it was the only one that worked for me. Interestingly enough I also started following a modified version of YT's Impatientdieter's regimen to kick start my weight loss and I lost 14 so far in 5 wks! Not w/o working out though. With both the 6 wk makeover and impatientdieter all I needed was to walk 30-45 min treadmill a day. Out of the two, the 6 week makeover is easier, the other is faster.

@jaineblaize that is great! I lost 46 lbs using 6 week body makeover(in 8 mos), and have kept it off for two years...I gain and loose between 5 to 10 lbs, here there...which is to be expected. I also try to walk at least 3 times a week on the treadmill/eleptical 45 minutes...I still have another 70 lbs I want to loose(i will never be a size 9 again-but doing this for health reasons), I'm taking it slow, so it will be lasting.
