I am a gamer well done for pointing out all the doushbags who whine about sonic's fucking eye colour and what other tom fuckery that dosen't really reflect on any games and make other gamers look bad. True there have been valid points in some gaming rants but mostly the spoiled little cunts just open their traps and screw up any chance of the valid gamers getting their points across because no one can see over the pile of shit left in their wake.
The only thing I got against comics is the price - content ratio. I only bought a few handful of comics (one about X-23's origin, Deadpool: Wade Wilson's War 1-3, Deadpool Team-Up: Galactus, the last Deadpool Corps, one of the Heroic Age Avengers, and one of the Power Girl comics). Basically 12 pages for $4 each.
It is another reason why I'm trying find issues from BOOM! Studios and IDW Comics. Heard IDW is gonna make a Godzilla comic, win there. That and I'm trying to find Iredeemable.

As a gamer who's not exactly hardcore but plays too often to be casual and as a casual reader of comic books (mostly Transformers, but I'm trying to broaden my horizons), I couldn't agree more with this. The fact is, the comic book community has been through a lot over the years, even compared to the video game community. Do you hear us comic fans complain? No, or at least not to the degree a lot of gamers do. Bad games happen--DEAL WITH IT.

my favorite part of the recent events of marvel in dc is how half of my favorite characters are missing and with the DC reboot how some writers are trying to make superman DARK and EDGY. Just the biggest one) Thankfully the hype from MvC3 vanilla + UMvC3 got me into reading comics again. (Well that and an indie manga-style series but that's kinda love it or hate it territory) Trust me, for every bad event comic Marvel had with their A-listers, their more obscure stuff was much more worth it to read IMO.

Seeing franchises like Call Of Duty, Dragon Age and various others going down the toilet is something to be angry about. Seeing game canon getting fucked up by horrible media (Halo: Forerunner saga for example) is something to be angry about. Overly generous preorder bonuses and pricey DLC are also worth being angry about.
Comparing us to a completely different media fanbase is not a valid way to tell us to "shut up". We have just as much to be angry about as any comic book fan.

The only thing I got against comics is the price - content ratio. I only bought a few handful of comics (one about X-23's origin, Deadpool: Wade Wilson's War 1-3, Deadpool Team-Up: Galactus, the last Deadpool Corps, one of the Heroic Age Avengers, and one of the Power Girl comics). Basically 12 pages for $4 each.

As a gamer who's not exactly hardcore but plays too often to be casual and as a casual reader of comic books (mostly Transformers, but I'm trying to broaden my horizons), I couldn't agree more with this. The fact is, the comic book community has been through a lot over the years, even compared to the video game community. Do you hear us comic fans complain? No, or at least not to the degree a lot of gamers do. Bad games happen--DEAL WITH IT.

Just the biggest one) Thankfully the hype from MvC3 vanilla + UMvC3 got me into reading comics again. (Well that and an indie manga-style series but that's kinda love it or hate it territory) Trust me, for every bad event comic Marvel had with their A-listers, their more obscure stuff was much more worth it to read IMO.

Marvel has a habit of changing things around only to change them back due to status quo. I was more mad at Thor's death. You'd think a guy who just appeared in a movie and is set to appear in another one with a bunch of other Marvel characters wouldn't be killed off in the comics he originated from but oh no, Marvel has to shoe-horn that in somewhere.

As for Wasp I inmediatily knew they will brought her back someday. Maybe it will be the same with Bucky, but I don´t know. I´m tired of with this "dead-not dead-dead again-screw you fanboys" system they have been used as plot device for the last few years.

My only REAL gripes about DC is:
1) SINESTRO REINSTATED AS A FREAKIN' GREEN LANTERN
2) Barbara Gordon recovering from that shot in the back
3) The potential Gambit Pileups of completely EPIC proportions if there are ANY big crossovers among titles having villains with potentially far reaching consequences. Such as the rebooted Blue Beetle and Firestorm teaming up with each other while the Reach invade and dodging a shadowy Illuminati ripoff and then helping out Animal Man.

Seeing franchises like Call Of Duty, Dragon Age and various others going down the toilet is something to be angry about. Seeing game canon getting fucked up by horrible media (Halo: Forerunner saga for example) is something to be angry about. Overly generous preorder bonuses and pricey DLC are also worth being angry about.
Comparing us to a completely different media fanbase is not a valid way to tell us to "shut up". We have just as much to be angry about as any comic book fan.
