I really feel like i need to lose weight due to joint pains I get. I guess I can start out by cutting off all the soda;( Feel like I am addicted to it though ... Thanks to Khrystyn14 and other commentors!!
I really liked this video, I think the instant change to your lifestyle when you start dieting is not always easy, but after you stick with it- it becomes normal and the energy, health and positive feedback you get- you continually want to perpetuate, so it becomes evenl less difficult! You just love the way you feel. Keep it up girl, I'm rooting for you!
great video and tips I've just started a healthy eating lifestyle as well only made a few small changes so far drinking 2 litres of water a day, No soda and no takeouts and just eating 3 meals a day and so far I've lost 10 pounds in a month and my bf lost 7 pounds in a month, we have done so many diets and always failed so the healthy lifestyle changes is the only way to go to stick to it, but definately gonna switch to all the whole wheats and whole grains and low sodium stuff :) thanks
@orlanicola Great job on the weight loss! I've actually noticed that I prefer the whole grains now! Keep it up and please update me with your progress!
@Rsqueen223 I was actually thinking about making this kind of video. I'll get some ideas to you guys as to what recipes you would like me to show you.
@Paigey2214 First I would take a trip to the doctor to see exactly what your body needs. Right now your body is in a critical stage of life. Messing too much with your weight may do more harm then good especially if it's only a few pounds. Small things can help make you feel more healthy like cutting out soda and drinking more water. Also cutting out (or at least cutting down) fast food. Please let me know if this helps! Thanks for watching!
a couple suggestions to help you out. based on what you showed here, i'm not seeing that you're getting a lot of essential things. i know you take pill vitamins but the thing about those is that if you don't get enough of some things before taking the pill, they can't be absorbed into your system. also, you eat a lot of preservative which are not healthy. my university nutrition prof always said, eat food in forms that look as close as their natural form to really benefit from the food.
@IlySkittles Thank you for your suggestions. Unfortunately in this day and age finding food (a variety of food) that is still in it's natural form can be frustrating. Which in turn can lead people right back to eating what is easy to find...McDonalds and other fast food chains. One big thing I learned when studying for my culinary degree is almost all food out there has some sort of preservatives. I just want this to be a change I can stick with once I lose the weight.
@Khrystyn14 i'd say that while it's not difficult to find food in its natural form and without preservatives, it can be expensive. buying leans meats like chicken and fish, fresh veggies and fruits, nuts, seeds, fresh herbs, it all adds up. i've stuck to a diet made up of all those things, lost weight and become very healthy, but it is not easy. i think that in order to promote a more healthy lifestyle, those would be my suggestions based off my nutrition degree :)
@IlySkittles Like I said in the video and in the description this is what I am doing for myself. I get there are better ways to do this but this is what is working for me. My subscribers wanted to see what I was doing to lose this weight so that is why I posted it. I want to give others the motivation to change their lifestyle like I received from someone else who posted the same type of videos. Everyone is unique and different things help different people.
@Khrystyn14 i hope you didn't get the impression, like some people, that i was arguing with you and telling you my way is better than yours. all i intended to do was to show people another way that has proven to be just as effective.
@IlySkittles Honestly you are rude and arrogant...No one asked you advice...Nor did anyone ask about your nutrition degree...This video is showing what works for her...She never once said follow me exactly and do what I do...Your comments are rude and if you don't agree don't watch!!!
@mallory8830 i'm neither rude or arrogant. i've been a subscriber for a while now, and just like her i was expressing the way that i've become healthier. if i was someone looking to find out how to become healthier i would want to have multiple options on how to do it. it's not like i was saying this is the only way to do it.
