  • Uh oh, here we go again. I'm coughing up blood.

  • "Inside, I'm running. Inside, my legs can carry me. I don't have a heart condition. I'm not someone in a wheelchair. I'm someone who catches butterflies in my mind's eye." <3 <3 <3 I love you, mom <3 <3 <3

  • @Spinny78 The dance is not over~:)

  • Fuck. I was like "What could be in this video to make people cry? I probably won't" and here I am tears streaming. She makes me understand life better than anything else, including religion.

  • WOW the tears are rolling down my face as well.

  • Yep...here come the water works. It gets to me everytime!

  • Tori's such a wonderful (and the word is small) teacher for women to be authentic and embrace all that they are, but I always wonder can I ever get just the hope to get to her ankle someday ...

  • this is Tori...

true artist with glorius mind and wonderfull soul

  • omg this is so heartbreaking but for a beautiful reason.

  • I love you, Tori.

  • i feel old watching this again

brings me back post 9/11 :(

  • so moving

  • my god i can't stop crying!!

  • wow..she's an amazingly smart woman. she makes you see things thru what she has seen..into a new way that all of us can see now.

  • I can't believe I'm crying, wasn't expecting this

  • This part always makes me cry. It is so beautiful and true.

  • 2:41- she is so gorgeous!!!! I love this woman more than words can say!!!!

  • I have loved this woman since the early 1990's, and I will love her forever and always!!!!!

  • God, she was so beautiful before she went through the facelifts and countless botox injections : ( But I still adore her and she is my favorite artist : )

  • @PreciousEarthquakes2 hate to break it to you dumbass but all of this was AFTER her surgery/botox. she got surgery in August 2004 and began botox in 2001.

  • @robertschrader Yes, I know this is after her surgery: the brow lift. Then the facelift came. As far as I am concerned, she didn't and doesn't need any of it. But she is her own person and so totally comfortable with herself that what I have to say in that sense means nothing really. Is she still gorgeous, ABSOLUTLY!!!!! In fact, the surgery has really complimented her in these recent years. I just wish she didn't feel she ever needed it, cause she didn't. Thx for the 01 info btw, I didn't know.

  • @robertschrader And your Tori vids are amazing, so thank you for those!!!

  • we all cried! :) and syrupdrop beauty does come from within. And Tori looks great, mabee you need to take anouther look.

  • oh my gosh, tears welled up in my eyes too!

she doesn't see herself running with her mother and daughter at this point (this interview) - why not? - but she hopes to in the future.

funny watching this in 2009 and seeing how badly she's coping with ageing especially in light of the comments in this interview.

so many women admire her and it would have be inspiring to see her keep her natural looks and show us that beauty comes from within.

  • That part about her mother is gold.

  • My keyboard is all wet now... and the twinkle in her eyes when she talks about her family makes it even more touching.

    She's simply wonderful..

  • You are all right, that story she shared about her mother is just pure beauty. & I didn't cry this time watching it, but I have others. But it always gives me the chills in a good way. I love Tori.

  • Yeah, I cried too.

  • i showed this to my own mother and she was so touched she cryed

  • when that part she speaks about her mother , there she made cry, amazing

  • This is probably the 4th time I see this (I own the deluxe edition of The Beekeeper, and it includes all those interviews), and every time, I choke up and have tears rolling down my cheeks. Such beautiful imagery and such wonderful insight and wisdom about life.

  • .....What the!!!I don't know why, but I started crying too!!!!!!*sniff-sniff*

  • i can't believe i'm crying

  • 3:30 is where the mirror story starts about what her mother told her.

  • omg Im crying!

  • she speaks so beautifully so i started crying

  • WOW... beautiful, i'm speechless, the tears in my eyes say it all.

  • I welled up listening to that too. She's so fascinating. I envy her profound insights! I wish I were friends with her - having coffee with her must be like a therapy session!

  • Very touching

  • My friend and ex-girlfriend have always loved this song, she got to know Tori's music through me and my Sis, and after I showed her that, she decided to use Ribbons Undone for her entrance on her wedding ceremony. It's good to come back and watch this, helps to put things back into perspective!

  • God that was so beautiful

  • Tori Amos' musings reflect beautifully the heart & soul of mothers everywhere...even in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Thank you Leah! You continue to be one of my most precious gifts...Love I send, Moompsie

  • omg, this woman is a mystic!!! she's so attuned to something enormously beautiful.

  • word.

  • very powerful

  • Man i love that woman...

  • Oh my. I have tears in my eyes. That was beautiful.

  • Beautiful. Hit home hard. Thank you for uploading this so much:') - C

  • I just have to add that when she speaks of Ribbons Undone ... it is sooooooo similar to how I think of my grandmother, and her relationship to my mother and I. The most beautiful thing I have ever heard.

  • Thanks again!!!

  • I'm speechless.
