This was a really cool movie. I know even McCoy himself thinks it would have been better without him, but I think his role was vital to tie in the old series with the movie. Without him, some people might not except it a s canon.

i liked this movie a lot it wasnt that bad i just hated that they made the doctor half human which is impossible timelord DNA is radicly different than human DNA plus timelord brains are much larger and they have two hearts.

I thought the film was a tad under-rated. It wasn't bad but better than some of the crap that RTD has churned out in the past five years on NuWho. Although he was American, I have to confess to enjoying Eric Roberts performance as the Master. Daphne Ashbrooke and Yee Jee Tso also added wonderful support and Paul McGann was inspired as the Doctor. Plus the interior of the TARDIS looked amazing. The one we saw in NuWho so far was pretty good but it wasn't as jaw dropping as the TV movies.

McGann was FANTASTIC--easily lifted that film to "tolerable" rather than the utter tripe it was without him. This user is actively on the hunt for his Big Finish audio dramas.

Hated the Master, loved McGann, despised the story, liked the companions, hated the americanisation (The Doctor is half human? they have removed that part from cannon) loved the references. overall a very hit and miss film
