one reason this sounds "good" is that there are chords being played, which dramatically increase the supersaw effect. another reason this sounds "good" is because the user is turning the knobs while a midi loop is playing. No preset sounds like this, for that reason. Its really frustrating for me these days, trying to make any synth create a usable sound.

Near the left side of the screen, you can see it says "download" in English after some Japanese text, it'll bring you to a page where you can download the program (the newest version's on the top). I hope I could help, and if it's still hard to understand then just use Google Translate.

@Eblanc hmm, well i had this plugin before and i also got managed to get this sounding, but i should download to see again for this plugin, but i would recommend u to try zebra 2 ;) great plugin, there are also some tuts about sounddesign defo worth to check it out:) and there it is defo possible to make this sound:)

And yes the sound is taken from airwave, he's not showing his melodies, rather the vsti's abilities. He even labeled it, how to make a Rank 1 sound, Rank 1, the producers of airwave, and if You didn't know Rank 1 prior to this song, You are just a complete newbie in this music :)))))

download the .dll to the FL VST folder, then you open FL and go to add channel/more.. quick search for the new VST, and it will show up in red text as a new instrument.. tick the box next to the red text.. voilá ;) It's now in your list of instruments..

@ItsYourBoyo7 Extract the folder anywhere you want, open the folder. Then goto your VST folder, usually in programme files, imageline, fl studio, plugins. Once you have both VST and synth1 folders open. Drag and drop the .DLL file into the VST folder. Goto FL studio and goto my channels then click more and click fast scan. Theres your VST !

@jkk45 Why not??? It's pretty straight forward! S1 with saw wave form + unison, detune the Oscs, push up the poly up and drop the Rank1 Airwave midi file in your host. Now hit play and automate the filter cutoff, or move it manually by mouse. Then do the same but with the Awakening (also Rank 1) midi file, and play with the filter cutoff by automating it with an LFO... See easy.

This one is acctually quite useful, within its sonical range. Nothing extreme or revolutionary about it, but just useful. You can get some great tones out of it, and its free. So, no complaints. BTW, have you ever tried Omin-Osc VSTi by NekroBat? Google it and you will find a great free-synth to try out.

@djjireh I know it's been 3 months since you posted your comment, but I just saw this. The key to getting the supersaw sound is detuning. What you do is you get oscillator 1 to the sawtooth waveform and then set the mix all the way to the left so that only osc. 1 can be heard. Then, set the detuning of osc. 1 to a value that you like (I personally use anywhere between 16 and 32; too little detuning doesn't give you enough supersaw sound, and too much just sounds bad.) I hope this helped.
