I drove a 1993 BMW 525iA E34 today... 153000 MILES on the clock..

Ride was as pleasant as it is on a 60000 mile 2006 Volvo V50... 13 years difference.

This is one of those cars that doesnt need a new exauhst to ound good. If anything they sound worse!! Cant wait to get my 1993 BMW 525i, old but better than most cars out now days!!

...I have come to the conclusion owners of cars are delusional, expecting they're car is better than all,in 96 e34 was good. i own a 525w/ the m50 motor, i sold it for 2k, after two years guy who bought it tried to go fast while it was cold and overheated the motor and the head is now warped, cost of new head/machining surpasses his threshold, im now the proud owner of the boat anchor, my girls gti is faster, but i'd like to get the bmw running again, long term dream, drop a dmax in it=35mpg.

got the same 525 (its with the M package and sport chassi) only difference is i have the m5 wing on the back, and i can tell u that with an exhaust like this one (ive got a Ferrita myself) i got almost everyone thinking its the M5...

For those who don`t know- it`s probably has original the Sportpaket M & that`s why it looks like the M5 (ofcourse of the little difference in front bamper) & probably this is a 93/94 model, cuz 2 years earlier you could find that type of model pretty eazy in Germany.

Luxury for me= stability, cornering, low inside noise, lovely sound.

Never mind the fact I dont have air conditioning :p

You dont enjoy corners with freons, and technology and IPOD sockets, you enjoy them with a BMW.

Some 2008-2009 BMW's even have an electric(WTF seriously?)oil pump.

My BMW has 298 000km's on it and it does 9litre per 100km in mixed driving, and lasts a whole 10 000km before oil change without the need of adding any.

And its the most quiet car I've ever driven =)

im talking about the fuel pump, my 135i has 2 fuel pumps, a high and a low pressure pump. i was driving one day and all of a sudden the car started sputtering and it wouldn't go faster than 20mph, what happened was the high flow pump went dead so it was only running on the low flow pump, $600 later i had a new pump.

US e34 owners need some help here so we can represent what our e34 can really look like, what type of suspension upgrades have been done, what type of exterior modifications, what type and size rims, what exhaust, do we cut out the cats, or what let us know,my wife wants me to junk my e34 but if i can make it look like that she will reconsider

huahu der Serienauspuff ist nicht zu übertreffen jeder Tuningpott bringt schlechtere Leistung und macht den schönen seidigen Sound zur Nichte

der außpuff hört sich gar nich so an. Dieses Microfon kann diese geräusche nicht darstellen. Im Soundstudio mit einem excellenten "Neumann" Micro, dann geht es in die gute richtung. Trotz dem: ein wunder schönes Auto.
