  • Gotta go with John Hannah on this one. Best ever. Too bad he played on such a bad team.

  • Dolphins center Dwight Stevenson is undrated

  • Ok top 3 no order too good Webster,Hannah, Munoz. Upshaw was too low #4 and Shell too high Gene made him look good

  • Walter Jones is #1 by far

  • Larry Allen is the number 1 OL. He chased down a Saint LB to prevent a touchdown. How many OL man would do that? None.

  • @toua88 WTF would that have to do with being an OL ? so that makes him # 1 wow you have no football knowledge

  • John Hannah is number one!!! By far.

  • John Hannah is number 1.

  • where is jeff backus? he should at least be in the honorable mentions

  • This is a top 15 with those numbered honorable mentions, a cheap way to dodge a top ten. Don't be a wimp. It's like starting a radio top 40 with songs 41-5. That's not a top 40.

  • I play football because of anthony munoz

  • Kelsay Signs Contract Extension

  • I have a serious issue with a. Dwight Stephenson not being on the list (I know his career was just 8 years) b. Larry Allen being on the list, especially ahead of future Hall of Famers Jones and Ogden c. Jones being lower than Ogden d. Hannah below Shell and Munoz. Hannah is the best, in my opinion. You get points for giving Art Shell credit; he is really underrated. He used to be thought of as the best left tackle of all time. For some reason people have forgotten him.

  • ogden should have been number 1

  • what about jesse sapolu?

  • Top 10: (1) Anthony Munoz (2) John Hannah (3) Jim Parker (4) Art Shell (5) Walter Jones (6) Mike Webster (7) Larry Little (8) Russ Grimm (9) Rayfield Wright (10) Larry Allen

  • Larry Allen, Rayfield Wright, Tom Rafferty, Blaine Nye, Nate Newton, Mark Tuinei, Erik Williams, Kevin Gogan, Mark Stepnoski, Flozell Adams, Andre Gurode, Leonard Davis all blocked fr HOF runners or soon to be HOF runners, Dallas consistently has the most stable o-line and running game over the decades.

  • WALTER JONES AT 8??!?!?! walter jones allowed about 7 sacks in his entire career at the hardest tackle position in the game. he is undoubtedly in the top 3.

  • left out best center of all time..... mike webster

  • Man,how could you leave out the very best of all time---Jim Parker Baltimore Colts All Pro at Offensive Tackle for many years, then was asked to switch to Offensive guard and immediately was named All Pro at that position ie was asked to run faster as he grew older. He was a monster. He was Johnny Unitas' bodyguard.Your list has no credibilty without JIM PARKER . Roosevelt Brown shold have been higher and Dan Dierdorf should have been left off. He was a holder a biter adirty ballplayer.

  • 1.Jack Webster

    2.John Hannah

    3. Larry Allen

    4.Anthony Munoz

    5.Steve Wisniewski

  • John Hannah should be #1. over the years football players have been getting weaker. in the old day when Hannah played, people tried to kill the QB. plus he was on a bad team and still was a hall of famer. all u haters can go fuck off.

  • No Joe Jacoby? No Russ Grimm? Not even in your honorable mentions? You must be a Cowboys fan.

  • wtf, where's bruce matthews

  • i think gene upshaw should be higher

  • As a Viking fan one criticism I have is Hutchinson being an honorable mention yet Randall McDaniel is not in there at all.

  • Can't argue w/ Munoz being #1 but Walter Jones should be way higher, top 5 at the very least. Also did I miss Willie Roaf???

  • Orlando Pace with the pancake block

  • OGDEN

  • Anthony Munoz,Jonathan Ogden, and Willie Roaf are my top 3.

  • steve hutchinson walter jones and gene upshaw=top 3

  • what about willie roaf

  • dwight stephenson needs to be in the top 10.

  • wat about Larry Little, Dwight Stephenson or Jim Langer

  • how is jim otto not in the 1op 10 wow

  • Is Bruce Matthews not worth mentioning in this list?

  • i know that im a little biased but i think that Jon Runyan should ebe up there at least in ten honorable mentions at least the way that he plays and destroys de-lineman and other players is crazy he would beat tne crap out of mike straeham that putse and plus he was named the dirtiest player in the nfl but either then taht good list

  • Nice BUT..... Dwight Stevenson(the best of all time) and Mike Webster at center, No Jackie Slater??? or Will Shields??? I never saw Jerry Kramer and John Hannah should be ahead of Anthony Munoz. No disrespect to Munoz

  • no way anthony munoz is a way better offenive lineman he is ten times more agile and quick

  • Jerry Kramer should be on this list. He made the key block that successfully executed the qb sneak in 4th qtr to win the ice bowl

  • Will Shields?

  • What about Jerry Kramer, Jackie Slater, and Mike Webster, even Randy Cross?

  • (that damn RAIDERS fan here, again...)

Gotta show the love for my man Wisniewski, too... something about 7 Pro Bowls and being named to the All 90's Decade Team... think he needed to be mentioned...

  • I'm a RAIDERS fan...

but I gotta agree with 'liltarv', John Hannah is the All-Time O-lineman, #1.

Also, dissin' Otto like that... crazy. Look up his accolades, might want to move him up the charts a little. And completely dissing Mike Webster is just crazy, you might have a Steeler fan or two give you a personal visit about that...

Munoz, btw, is an excellent choice, but #3 behind Hannah and Shell.

  • this is a joke , JOHN HANNAH greatest of all time college or pros PERIOD!!

  • wat about will shields or willie roof

  • ...hmm, interesting how the best o-lineman of all time was a bengal and today none of cinncinatis o-lineman are more than okay...

  • Wow, Orlando Pace invented the stat PANCAKE and he is #10?

  • i have a lot of respect for offensive linemen. they may not intentionally carry or receive the ball, score touchdowns, etc. but yet they are one of the most important ingredients you need to be a successful team. everything starts up front...being able to protect the QB or to establish some sort of ground attack.

these guys suffer so many injuries too when they are engaging in their big bruising human chess matches with the guys lining up in front of them

  • wheres the 20yr man jackie slater how can you forget him

  • Orlando Pace not #1... wut....

  • Orlando Pace is nothing compared to Walter Jones. And I think Steve Hutchinson should've been in top ten. Although, I'm biased, cuz I'm a Seahawks fan.

  • Nothing compared to? Everybody knows he's one of the greatest ever, the only thing that prevents him from being THE BEST is injuries.

  • Ok I'm an offensive linemen and dont get me wrong you had great players on your list. But how did you not put Randall McDaniel? He's by far the best guard that ever played and Munoz would be the best tackle no doubt

  • walter jones = the best pass blocker of all time. I'll leave run blocking for everyone else to decide : )

  • where the hell is joe jacoby?

  • I'd put Bruce Matthews or Mike Webster instead of Orlando Pace

  • dwight stephenson and jim langer

  • really good choices but my biased favorite is walter jones

  • no bruce matthews = no buys

    honourable mention to tony boselli

  • Jim Otto should be top 10 and not honorable mention. That guy never missed a game

  • Not a bad job. My top two guards are also John Hannah and Larry Allen. Munoz was the best tackle I ever saw. Erik Williams, had he not wrecked his knee in an auto accident, would have made it to Canton. He dominated the great Reggie White and was the best RT in the NFL for four years. Jim Covert was outstanding but he rates under guys like Ogden and Pace. Jim Parker should've made this list. Dwight Stephenson was a tremendous center, the best of his era.

  • good list but where the fuck is mike webster?

  • Raiders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is so biased..

  • who is it biased to?

  • @hipo250 poop

  • Jim Parker should be no. 1 or 2 at guard. He was a monster. Roosevelt Brown was a consensus top tackle ever. I've never seen him out of a top 2 or 3 let alone out of top 10!

    More GLARING ommissions:

    Ron Yary

    Russ Grimm

    Mike Munchak

    Matthews

    Ron Mix

    Bob "Boomer" Brown

    Bob St Claire

  • Jimbo Covert, too

  • BRUCE MATTHEWS?

  • wtf wheres Matt Birk?

  • #1 John Hannah no doubt the meanest and toughest linemen ever...roll tide haha

  • #1 John Hannah no doubt the meanest and toughest linemen ever...roll tide haha

  • wow u have no motha fukin hogs

  • 1) Anthony Munoz 2) John Hannah 3)Art Shell 4) Forrest Gregg 5) Jackie Slater 6) Roosevelt Brown 7) Johnathon Ogden 8) Dan Dierdorf 9) Larry Allen 10) Mike Webster

  • No doubt Munoz is #1, but Hannah or Ogden should be #2. Then Shell #4...but where is Bob St.Claire and Jackie Slater...both not in the top 15??? With other greats like Bruce Matthews it should be a top 20 maybe. I think Larry Allen is WAY to high up. Should be near middle to end of top 10, a great one yes, but not top 3 or 4

  • wow steve hutchinson should really be in the top ten

  • what about bob st. clair 6'9" 325

  • what about bob st. clair

  • rip gene upshaw

  • IMHO, i think Ogden was the best

  • wth wheres roaf wheres mawae wheres kendall wheres shield

  • jackie slater,gary zimmerman,bruce matthews,ron mix,willie roaf,ron yary,bob kutchenberg,larry little,allan faneca,and "oklahoma 2009 duke robinson" to name a few

  • they can't all fit on a top 10 list, hahaha, i will admit I should have put Jakie Slater on their though that was dumb of me
