well, you dont exactly slap a supercharger on a LS3 and call it ZR1.

can you slap a TVS2300 on a regular C6 with a small pulley to up the boost and you could probably get the same HP. but it wont be as reliable the the LS9 because the bottom end wasnt built for boost.

and you still arent getting the components that are on ZR1.

well actually the base LS3 corvette is lighter by like 100lbs and it would probably be better than a zr1 throw a procharger on add 10.5PSI like the LS9 and it is better than a ZR1

the centrifugal bowers are more efficient but lack the low end boost and torque of a positive displacement blower.

dont get me wrong. centrifugal blowers make good peak power. i run a vortech on my camaro. but you can do anything you want to a C6 with a LS3, but it would take A LOT of money and time to get it as good as the ZR1 as a whole.....

I own the ZR1 (traded a C6 Z06 to get it). The haters on here make me laugh. My Porsche Turbo driving friend was astounded when we traded cars for a trip from Orlando up to Don Garlits Museum in Ocala (75 miles). He found nothing to hate, the Posche has a nicer interior. But his car cost $22k more than my ZR1. Same thing with a friend who owns a Lambo Merc. I have no trouble staying with these cars without having to strangle my car to death. If you spent an hour with one, you'd know what I mean
