  • From wich concert is this?? please tell me... .)

  • What a music!!!!

  • sounds more like a guitar solo on an acoustic guitar. but great work, i adore this guy and i loved "art metal"

  • format conversions...?

  • so musical.

  • Well the tone certainly helps add definition to his playing ... using a more traditional tone (e.g. P-bass with flats) wouldn't sound too great with high-register melodies like you see here. I think it's a great example of what Wals can do tonally.

  • amazing player, but i dont like the tone, so much highs and lack of lows, almost like a guitar

  • if you played bass, you'd know that it is necessary to cut the bass frequencies to play chords and some melodies

  • jonas is also a technicaly amazing player this solo just with the slow melodic sound really shows his skill.

  • very good

  • Awesome bass player and awesome bass. I've owned his first custom base since I was a teenager in 1980s. I posted a video response if you want to see the bass.

  • He's awesome, one of my favourit bass players.

  • are you serious? um, well lets see your videos

  • thank's a lot, for this wonderful, intelligent and useful comment!

  • you're funny

  • thats some nice bass playing, i never knew there were others beside cliff burton playing sick bass

  • you haven't seen much then, have you? :)

  • Is that a Wal he's playing?

  • when do you all think this was filmed?

  • it's very musical!see my videos too,see you!

  • best living bass player, in my opinion

  • dont forget about a guy named stanley clarke

  • Video of me playing a Jonas Hellborg designed bass when I was in a band called "Tous" in Naples, Italy at the young age of sixteen is available on my YouTube page if anyone is interested in seeing the bass. My playing was nothing special, but the bass is awesome. One of my oldest and most prized possessions.

  • hellborg destroys!!!

  • gwow.

  • I LOVE YouTube! I'm learning about so many bassists that are SO good!

  • tue that son

  • that´s really great music played on the bass.

Jonas Hellborg played with John Mc Lauglin and Trilok Gurtu and with Ginger Baker for example.

  • ok it says john hellborg above the video so dont ask who is he

  • sorry jonas hellborg

  • This is great, who is this guy?

  • I believe he is the bassists that writes the chord books. They look like pamphlets and they're really good, so is he!
