@kinglynx Most likely, I do the same technique as I can't for the life of me "sketch" with a Tablet xD I draw it on paper traditional, scan it, than retrace it. Takes longer, but it gets the results I want. If you don't have a tablet, using this method is almost a must to get decent results.

@aznbank congrats on figuring out what i was doing with those colors. everybody else has asked me what I was doing. It does help for me; I use a very dark color first and then add light to it, instead of starting with a light color and adding shadows. it's easier to visualize dimension, at least for me.
