I hate how people always ay things like "oh this game sucks now..." and "oh I hate the graphics in this, they're so shitty"... It's like, yeah but back in the day, this game kicked ASS! It was the top of the line to have an N64, and this game was the epitome of great gaming. I remember this when it came out, it was awesome. Show some appreciation, and get over yourselves. Things get old, but that doesn't mean they aren't good...

@jin256 Raiko: Kind of. It was quite noticable how blurry N64 games looked, and I personally always held that against the system. The graphics were quite simple too, compared to some Playstation games around that time.

how were n64 graphics simple compared to playstation graphics? n64 was three times stronger than ps1 and it had graphical features ps1 did not have (like texture filtering and z-buffering). n64 came out in 1996 while ps1 originally came out in 1994.

awesome game, I use to do that level so much I never used manual aim just pointed the gun in the right direction and fired, even when shooting the alarms lol I was able to get most of the cheats to but some were just beyond me.

That was a terrific video. It's easy to forget how strong the N64 was at handling 3D graphics. The hardware was superior to the PSX and Saturn at the time, despite the low polygon count and blurry textures and cartridges. Goldeneye was endless fun...funny that this game is remembered more than the movie, heh heh.

@22Mctavish Raiko: That's quite a request, but I can't record anything from my N64 at the moment. I'm aving some compatibility issues with my capture card and Windows 7. All I can do really is give you advice.

Basically, run like mad. Don't stop to kill anyone unless they have a keycard or get in your way. Do not check any of the early rooms for Dr Doak. If he's not with the scientists near the end of the level, you've no chance of finishing the level fast enough and you'll have to try again.
