lol my horse did that with me, he stopped in the middle and rolled with me on him. After wars hes gets up and realizes i'm still on the ground. lol gotta love them =]
i was just resently ridding a 2yr old appy filly, and it was her first time in the arena with the ground all soft and she kept trying to roll, it was weird
Not ours. He has been a member of my friends family and they brought him here from New Jersey. He is very sweet and lovable, but I think learned to respect her more by the end of the trail.
@Hellishhorse Not true. Some horses just LOVE to roll. It has nothing to do with respect of humans. We have a couple of ponies who drop and roll with absolutely no warning, they are like dogs who just can't resist a swim. It's just the way they are.
Don't know if I can agree with that joosiej85- a horse [or pony!] must be aware that there is a human on his/her back- if he/she "just loves to do things" then a horse you had a good relationship with would kick you, rear up on you, buck you off, bite you etc........the only animals I know that have done these things have either been; 1] young and/or hav'nt got round to respecting their owners or 2] have a reason for doing them [sore backs, pain, psychological problems].H.Hx.

Man, that horse is DETERMINED to get wet. My horse would rather die than go swimming! I need a little of this horse's bravery!
