I stumbled across this movie (can't quite call it a film) the other day so to keep my comment as authentic as I can I'm going to watch your video and then let you know what I though of this movie. I'll post my 2nd comment in 12:10 time.

## Three so far - and the third was much much better than no.2. 2 tries too hard to be clever and intelligent, and fails as a result - it has not nearly enough plot. Unlike 3, which is well worth watching - it feels as though there never was a 2. The second does not feel as though it has to follow 1 or has to precede 3 - it is free-standing; it could easily be watched first without any loss of narrative continuity.

I listened to the DVD commentary and Clancy Brown was supposed to be the man in the cell. This whole movie was written for Clancy Brown. Then he got picked up for that HBO show and he bailed. This was a terrible sequil.

Yeah!!! The first "Starship Troopers" was campy fun, courtesy of "Robocop" helmer Paul Verhoven. I never bothered with the sequels. Good Review John.

One problem with the first one and the second one alike is the Mobile Infantry never utilizes effective tactics or strategy and rarely uses appropriate weaponry. Small arms wouldn't do jack squat against enemies that are essentially walking vehicles. An anti-material rifle should be the bare minimum. The Morita combination gun from the first movie would only be useful against the small bugs encountered in part two. All M.I. does, basically, is fire their weapons at the enemy with random results.
