  • mumford worship music?

  • Fuck, they're amazing.

  • i love mumford and sons <3!

  • From 3:35 is just the most perfect piece of music, I cry every time...

  • @alli1009 STOP IT !!!!

  • @alli1009 Why are you even bothering clicking on the video if you think they 'suck' Go away you pathetic excuse for a human being.

  • @EdAndMumfordLife i was joking chill! i was just teasing @Freysii1

  • What? No Fryersmuck? the shame! Now I must go and skin elves and tan and fashion their skin into gloves to send to Ted!

  • @Thebluebridgetroll I KNOW! I was completely expecting that guys hilarious comments here as well!

  • I don't believe that this is about marriage, but spirituality. However, the wonderful thing about music is it can be subjective, so can mean many things to different individuals'. Regardless, beautiful song, love them and their ingenious music!

  • @jrshull1 but if the musician did not intend it that way can it, or would the listener just be imposing themselves upon the musicians?

  • @jojojohn997 Well to impose upon them they would have to have authority over the music, or be able to burden the musicians. Since the song is already written they are unable to change the meaning of the song for the musicians. So I would say that if they are able to give someone the ability to release emotions through their music, they have fulfilled the purpose of music. However, this is just my opinion, and I don't exactly get paid much for them.

  • CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW ALBUM!!!

  • Man... No words to express my feelings about this song...

  • Thought i died...turns out I hit the mute button

  • I'm going to find to deaf fucker that disliked this and inflict pain.

  • Actually i thought this is a good gospelsong, but my understanding of english is not so good, but anyways: cheers!

  • 1+ person was watching this video upside down and got the up and down thumbs confused...

  • I hate the part at 4:28.

  • sounds like this song is about meditating lol

  • I absolutely love these guys! I can put their CD on and not skip one song, I love every one of them! I even want see them live, and I never go to concerts.

  • @TyWatters47 i saw them live at the rose garden last night in Portland it was amazing! You should totally see them live!

  • is this about getting married?

  • @jupiterkid100 I don't know, never thought about it that way. But you could be right! Maybe it's just about two people making a new start.. It's depends on how you look at it.

  • @Lil106692 thanks :)

  • @Lil106692 i believe that this is a song about mumfords trust and reliance upon God, i could be wrong

  • @futbol4jc Ah really? I don't know, maybe..Could you explain why you think that? :) Love these different views and opinions!

  • @Lil106692 hopefully i can explain this. haha. with anything mumford it is quite beautiful. i think the best way to do so is to start with the overall structure of the song. i think this song is explaining different stages in life, and the chorus is separating the stages he is trying to express. and after every stage he is taken back to prayer "and i'll kneel down.." i think the stages this 1. being embraced by the arms of a Savior who rescued him from heavy burdens "chorus"

  • @Lil106692 2. the initial stages of God taking somebody who has trusted in Him and showing them what it takes to have Gods perspective on life. "chorus" 3. the confidence that comes with a full life and a realization of the truth "chorus" 4. worship and thankfulness for what God has done in his life. am i making any sense? im thinking it might be fun to do a line by line explanation for myself. what do you think of it so far?

  • @futbol4jc I like that theory, but as far as religion I don't know what to make of them. There's a video of them singing a hymn at a concert, but then in Winter Winds they say "the very shame that sent me from the God that I once loved..."

  • @jupiterkid100 This is the first time I have heard this song, but it is clear to me... It is about turning your life over to Jesus Christ, and your journey through life as He molds you as the potter does the clay... :) Praise and glory to Him...

  • @tennhllblly

    agreed :)

  • @jupiterkid100 One of the many wonderful things about Mumford and Sons is that you can give personal meanings to their songs. As Lil106692 said, it all depends on how you look at it.

  • It feels like blasphemy to do anything other than listen with full ears while Mumford & Sons plays.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=vGdQilOxAh0

  • They played this song in Toronto Oct 23. the ending was WAYYYYYYY better! look it up. slow build entire song till the end. the climax marcus belts out " I will wait, I will wait for you!" its FUCKING EPIC!!!!!!!! they need to make the song exactly as toronto's performance

  • @TheSerpentineOffring

I gotta disagree, I prefer this version. The way he sings "I will wait, I will wait for you" in the chorus really hurts the pace of the song in the Toronto version imo. This version feels just right :)

  • @TheSerpentineOffring though sigh no more did a great job of that, mumford and sons has a way with slow songs that get your emotions going

  • @TheSerpentineOffring

It was October 25 in Toronto! hahaha

And I was there too, the entire concert was incredible! sooooo gooooddddd!

  • wtf it says in the corner mumford and sons playong firestone november 18th i click it, theres a bunch of scene kid bands and im like ._.

  • I like that it has the faster, driving part that a lot of the "Sigh No More" songs had, if anyone gets what I'm talking about. I love their new stuff, but it doesn't seem like a lot of it is like the driving fell that makes you want to dance or jump or sing or generally make a nuisance of yourself. Don't get me wrong, I think the lower intensity songs are still very powerful.

  • Oh my goodness...this band is just so amazing...song after song after song after song after song...they just hit you right where you live...lyrics, music, emotion, rhythmn...why don't they have more albums out with songs like this on it...I only have Sigh No More...what other albums do they have out that I need to get my longing ears on??? God bless Mumford and Sons!

  • @Grafeaux They don't have any other albums, but they are working on a new one. You could search for 'The Wedding Band' Under that name, they released a few songs too :)

  • @Lil106692 Thanks Lil! While I am glad that they are just at the beginning of their career I can't wait to own more of their music...esp this song! I could listen to it all day...amazing!!! We are truly blessed to have them grace us with their music. :)

  • @Grafeaux I agree :) When their album is released here in the netherlands, I will immediately buy it :D They got me through some rough times, like no other music ever did for me :)

  • @Lil106692 If I might ask, as well, how the heck did you get your hands on this song??? :) If you can't divulge your secrets I understand...hahaha!

  • @Grafeaux Hahaha xD I'll confess... I'll believe I just snitched it from another youtube video.. I think? I can't remember 0:)

  • @Grafeaux These guys have changed my life..they're so much more than just songs. Yes, I'm so proud for flying half way around the world to see them live. I WOULD HAVE NEVER DONE THAT FOR ANOTHER BAND. Another album of their's called ' LOVE YOUR GROUND ' came out even before sigh no more ..so u can go get it :) Hold on to what you believe and sister..etc are on that album :)

  • @Grafeaux i totally agree!! i am learning to sing in this melodic way with rich emotion

  • @Grafeaux sigh no more is their debut album and to date their only album. They have been recently touring alot and have written loads of songs on the road so a new album should be out soon hopefully! absolutely love this band, as you said their lyrics, emotion and music are just beatiful! glad others share the love.

  • Thank you for uploading! I don't usually like listening to live versions of song b/c it's like, 'Crowd of people, I'm glad you're cheering for the best band ever but I can't even hear them play!'

    So thanks :) Good vid.

  • Sooo beautiful!!! These guys are brilliant! I love everything they play. I would probably even love the worst song in the world if they did a cover of it <3

  • @FantaUkelele Mumford and Sons - Friday (Rebecca Black cover) Hm... I have have my doubts, but it could work.

  • @FantaUkelele omg could you imagine them covering Friday by Rebecca Black?

  • @FantaUkelele fytfdycyr76hg
