  • Thank God for these wake up calls.

  • @D7NEWTON7 When you come to the end of your life and everything you know doesn't matter anymore what will you say? What will ask yourself? Did you make a impact? Ask yourself now... what is your purpose?

  • i will say sweet man gob heaven hell lucifer doest exist time 2 be a kick ass ghost cmon cmon cmon here i am rock ya like a hurricane

  • After you watch thise series of videos, I don't think you want to be a seat warmer in this world of caos anymore.

  • This is amazing....by the grace of God we choose to run...we may fall but we pick our selves up and continue to run. Why, Because God is faithful...his strength helps us to chase the prize. When we run we run by faith, we run because we desire to give God our lives. Let us continue to press on, let us continue toward the prize...let us continue to be light and salt to this world! Amen!

  • I saw every one of his movies and they are all very good that even i cry

  • With tears in my eyes and streaming down my face, I must say that what an honor it is that we are even able to be in this race no matter what are circumstances are. How many of us discard the importance of this race, and just live luke warm lives. Remember what scripture says, I will spit you out of my mouth because you are neither hot or cold but lukewarm...

  • AWW - Mr. VL I miss the moustache.

  • RVL has such passion for running after Christ! May we go after Him with intensity and compassion. It is great to get into the Word and understand it from the Hebraic culture. It sure opens our "western" eyes to the world of the Bible.

  • 777jsob when we understand what Yeshua was saying then we have a better of the word of Elohim saying. And to know what Yeshua was saying we have to understand the culture of the time. That is the problem today the church has used their own understanding to interpret the Bible and we have been so cheated. But now people like Ray are opening up our understanding with the true meaning.

  • It is our duty to spread the teachings of Ray Van der Laan and others that are teaching the Gospel from the Hebraic perspective

  • Ray Vander Laan is like one of my newest favorite listens. His teachings are so powerful the way he relays God's message to us.

    God bless this messsage.

  • Funny how people get side-tracked with details and miss the point. Having ears they dont hear, having eyes they dont see. By this will they know you are my deciples, by your love for one another.

  • There are sins of two extremes. Too close a focus on the law & data, and too little focus on the law and data. Jesus said the law and the prophets PIVOTED on the first two commandments. He NEVER commanded us to ignore the study of His Word. You missed the whole point of this video. Did you even watch it? Or are you bored with the study of Jesus words, actions, & where he walked? RVL encourages his students to run to Elohim & follow his Commands, especially the first two.

  • I have seen several Ray Vander Laan lessons and for the most part like his teaching however in the In the dust of the Rabbi dvd, When the Rabbi says 'Go' Ray says that Peter lost faith in himself Mat. 14:30 when he went to JESUS while HE was walking on the sea and that is why Peter started to sink. No matter how I look at that it just doesn't sit right with me, Peter was able to walk on water through his faith in CHRIST, it had nothing to do with himself.

  • (ran out of char.)I believe that Peter lost focus on CHRIST and that is why he started to sink.

I do think it is important for us to know what was going on when the Bible was written in order to use good hermeneutics and understand what was going on.

  • One thing I learnt years back was that Peter got out of the boat, and only Peter. I bet the others gave him stick back on the boat for loosing faith in that moment, when he saw and heard the roaring waves etc...but THEY hadn't got up and took that step of faith. And of course, because he had such faith initially, God was there to save him and offer not just any hand, but the hand of God. Which reminds me of the footprints poem, or son coming home to his father after squandering his inheritance.

  • My post was in reply to 777JSOB btw.

  • "learnt?"

  • God is using people like Ray Vander laan to wake Christians up to a deeper understanding of the bible. When you approach the OT and NT from a Hebraic roots perspective, it makes so much more sense. I encourage you to study scripture from the culture in which it was written, it will open your eyes to alot of stuff.

  • If all men were like Ray~this world would be awesome

  • I'm just wondering which of the faith lesson DVDs is this from? I want to go and watch it now.

  • Be Careful! He is a false teacher! pleaes be creful my brothers and sisters in Christ!

  • Unless you are able to point out false teachings of Ray Vander Laan, please do not post this again. And there is nothing wrong with studying the Old Testament, and if you believe that the OT is a false teaching, you cannot call yourself a Christian.

  • Please from the bottom of my heart i ask you to post some more.

  • What an amazing message. I have seen his dvds and God is certainly working through him. I'd love to go on one of his tours of Israil.

  • wow!!this has really inspired me!Im running tomorrow in a cancer research 10k charity run!

I was a bit nervous about it untill i saw this, now i,m going to run with Jesus at my side!

  • I am pretty sure you know this but the race ray is talking about is the race to salvation. the spiritual race that we run every moment with satan at our heals. when we enter into the Kingdom of God it is compared to a race by Paul.

  • Iknow what you are saying, ilove god so much and i have been saved.I live for god each and every day.when i pray,he never lets me down.i did the race to help people living with cancer and try to live my life like my lord Jesus.Amen .GOD BLESS YOU!

  • Jesus lived as a Jew and taught that He had come to fulfill the prophecies of the Old Testament. It is essential for us to understand that we are "grafted in" to the chosen seed of Abraham and that understanding our Hebraic roots (historically speaking, unless you are of Jewish descent)is the biggest key to that understanding. There is nothing false about RVL's teaching. He brings Jesus alive in a way today's Christian desperately needs!

  • I absolutely love RVL, he has completely changed my life and my view of Jesus and the early Christians and the life that they lived. Please put more videos on if you have them!

  • im a chrstian i love jesus whith all of me! BUT RVL has alot of false teachings!! just keep your hartes and eyes open! he lives to much in the old testament and completely ignors the new!

  • If you read the old and the new we see that nothing has really changed. He puts stuff into cultural context which is good. the authors of the bible wrote it for the people back then for what they were experiencing. it's good to take the context of the bible the way it was and figure out what was going on rather than just taking the bible for what what it says without looking at the context

  • you can only understand the new testament by studying the old testament.

  • have you actually seen all his videos or even been to his followtherabbi website? I have seen his first five and he has lots of stuff on the New Testament.

  • Great vid.

  • I actually got this from a website critical of RVL and Rob Bell. After watching this video, I fail to understand why. RVL and Rob Bell seem to communicate the Jewishness of Jesus more than anyone else, and it shows because their teaching bring the Bible to life. I actually understand what Jesus is saying when I comprehend his Jewish culture. I'm deeply confused as to why people who call themselves Bible-believing Christians rally against that.

  • ok, I'll try to post some more.

  • Ray is awesome.

  • I love the last part of this series "DOn't Forgot about us!" All the members in my bible study group cried!!! Especially on the Sudan woman's story =(

  • More!! I love Ray and all his videos. I have seen them all! Please post some more from this series. It is one of my fave!

  • Powerful indeed! I remember shooting the supporting video for this project. What a blessing!

  • Wow! That's powerful.
