  • I wonder how well my 12hp rear engine Snapper would do in that lol

  • i seen in one video that u had a 4in pully in the front and a 4in in the back do u still have that same set up here?

  • @redneck71692 actually, it's 4 int the front and 5 in the back. but yeah, thats the combo I have in all my videos. a 4 and a 4 should be fine as well

  • ought to wear a helmet

  • I've got a set of ski's for the front of mine when we get snow again

  • @ShawnCFarm I thought about that, could be interesting! U should do a vid of that when you do it!

  • @Fearlessfront I've got the tracks on it now, will have to wait for the snow to put the ski's on it, but could still test fit them I gess.

  • damn id give it 3-4 more inches of snow and you will almost need tires with bigger treads lol. looks fun by the way :)

  • @kowal789 yeaah, that was about the limit! good thing it was powdery!

  • you should make a tractor that has tandem drive axles in the rear and then make a set of tracks for it, it would prolly be a beast in the snow

  • could you make a vid of your wiring i need an example?

  • it looks like alot of fun im saving to get one now so i can have some fun

  • @hemy55 Cool! it really is alot of fun! And pretty cheap too.

  • @Fearlessfront my neighbor has a 20hp craftsman with messed up steering and it dosent mow. thought about buying it and doing this with it. its a 1980's or early 90's model. im just a cheap bastard that dosent want to fork over the cash for a 4wheeler.

  • @GMCman82 Hey me too! I love mower modding as much as I enjoy riding.

  • @Fearlessfront bst part is its like a home made gokart made of scrap. its easy to fix ,and find parts for and easy to mod. hell you can make a mad max style one if you want!!

  • @GMCman82 lol, funny you should say that. I'll be starting a new custom go-cart project VERY soon.

  • @Fearlessfront cool be sure to post it, i wanna see it.

  • i bet your girlfriend loves your redneck ass

  • @hanratty450 yeah, she rides them too! I'll have to get a video of it one of these days

  • make it a 4x4 lol

  • is it locked in the back? lol

  • @TheFreakyfixed87 Yes, Both of them are!

  • wow, you're really living life on the edge.

  • I donno about lucky! lol, more like bored, with too much time on my hands!

  • ur a lucky sumbitch

  • fuck your life

  • @kjafbdlkjbfd Lol! ok?

  • snow+locked diff= UNDERSTEER!!!.

  • @0clutch0 Yeah, you got it!

  • 4wd ?

  • @MrPusuhuuli I wish!

  • only 5 in? dude aww. I got photos of mine plowin through 2ft of snow but tire chains are magic. lol Yes I was on ATLMA. but not anymore

  • Im impressed that you did all that running in the snow without chains. That looked like fun. Thanks for the vids

  • Thanks! yeah, its pretty fun! if it gets much deeper we cant go threw it as easy.

  • can you lock a hydo trans?

  • @0clutch0 Maybe, I've never tried it.... I like gear driven trannys

  • @0clutch0 most people are to scared of fuckign them up by splitting the case and not being able to get it back together lol

  • what modifications did you do?

  • @DirtbikeGuy2009 Check out my how to build an off roading lawnmower, for more info

  • I love your dogs, man. And hell yeah that looks like fun!

  • I swear every time I turn around, he's right there... I almost ran him over at 2:00 lol! I think he likes the snow that flys off the rear tires.

  • Oh haha! Scary, but it wouldn't think it would hurt him that bad. Probably get up and shake himself off.

  • Hey OMG thats awesome! I didn't think you could run those machines in the snow. The dog was havin almost as much fun as you guys.Keep the vids coming...kick up that snow!

  • How u fit the atv tires on it?

  • Magic.... Haha.

j/k, I got a junk atv frame with front tires still on it. I basicly pulled the front hubs off, punched the bearings out, and welded the hubs on center on the axle... Well thats the simplified version.

  • Hmm.... really wantto have my build done soon! There's so much to do to the thing though!

Glad you still got some mud left. Snow is raelly fun, but IMO you can't beat mudding... in mud. Not snow, never really tried.... snud... though.

That locked dif must really help though.

    Great stuff guys!

  • The ground hasn't really frozen yet, so anything thats melts is more mud!

And if we weren't locked, we'd be doing more pushing then riding.. And we deffinetly wouldn't be making it up those hills!

  • Yeah, dunno if you can tell, but Im definatly really steering towards that locked diff. The pros more than make up for the cons.

  • Another awsome video! Back north i used to take my stock 84 dynamark out in the snow sometimes- did okay- till i took it out in a foot of snow once- had to push that thing the whole way.

Oddly my lil '70 5HP toro did better in the snow-

  • Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how they go in deeper powder. As it was, we were draggin trannys through snow. (that sounds just wrong, lol) It wasn't the traction that was a problem, it was the steering. You can only really steer half the time, but you can powerslide or drift it to make up for it... Sometimes... lol

  • i've never been riding in snow before.

    lol no snow in MS

    great vid though

  • i wish we would get some snow here pretty soon
