This isn't a very good tut video; very time Casey actually starts to DO something he turns the camera off. The point of a video is seeing how he used the screwdriver and how he pried off the emblem without damaging the paint. This was basically an un-boxing video.

hey i have been trying to remove my rear badge for the past hour and a half or so, but i could not for the life of me get the damn screws out of the back of the badge, you have any tips on angling the screwdriver? my confidence is shot and i dont think i could handle not rebadging my car...

@bruceoiii Super easy to do if you have a longer thin screwdriver. Find the longest thinnest one you have and go for that or hit up your auto parts store and pick up a cheap one and then return it if you have no use for it :)

you still can use front badge on back ... go to autozone and pick up some double sided tape for badging and fill in those ends

I wouldn't say that. It's a very goodlooking badge that's used in Korea. It better articulates the advancement in these particular cars from the other fine Hyundai vehicles without insulting the consumer with a so called luxury badge accompanied by overpricing.

I like it more with the oval as there is a huge oval indent on the trunk lid. Looks odd if it wasnt outlined like the original H was.

Yea I understand there is an oval indent so the badge wont fit without the oval.

But there are some gen coupes out there without the oval thing.

Hope you can find out how they did it since it looks much clean and stock.

dude u can simply just paint the round edges black and it will work ;) my friend did that with his blue genesis and totally worked!

as for me i just signed the papers today, and i ll have my genesis on wednesday, got it red with a premium package so yeayyy lol though its the 2.0t

Yep sure can! The 380GT is actually the Korean market emblem I installed to replace the plain 3.8 that comes in the US. Both badges can be removed without any holes.
