This is bracket racing. The bimmer got the green light first because he posted a 13.71 vs the vettes 13.50. This is the reason the Bimmer got the better start. The idea behind bracket racing is to run as close to your posted time as possible without going faster. They stagger the starting lights so that both cars will reach the finish line at the same time in theory.

I don't know about a little black box from Germany but I have a 335i and a little black box from California. It's called a JB3 and running no other mods ads about 50-60 rwhp to a stock 135,335 or 535 etc. Do a YouTube search for "335i JB3".
Well with a JB3 (juicebox stage 3) you can easily be pumping out 350 Whp or 400? Hp. So the black box thing isn't as scammy as it sounds. If scammy is a word hehe
i dont know much about how those 335is run but i do know the et of 13.4 is a little weak for even an automatic C6(if it really was a C6. Its hard to tell) My bone stock 2007 C6 6-speed automatic ran 12.8-13.0@ 115 in Bowling Green all day long. hell, I even hot lapped it 5 times in a row and my worst pass was a 13.1!

Definately not a z06... It was a c6 ls2... 5 non-split spoke wheels give it away... And it's kind of hard to tell, I could be wrong but I think it's an automatic by how it launched, and no chirping of gears... Even the least experianced drivers can chirp gears in a stick vette...
This is has to be the most stupid title I have ever seen and totally false. No Z06 on the planet is running that time unless the track is over 5000 ft. I have made 100s of passes at Etown and that was no Z06 of any kind. even C5 Z06s trap 114-117 mph so this was odd. Stock C5 Auto, maybe. A C6 Z06 with the worse driver will hit 12s at 120+ mph. Some of these videos are misleading with the title. I caught the non Z06 in the Z06 vs EVO video as well due to the lack of nose scoop.

I ran 11.78 at 120.9 mph in my 335i with no engine mods besides tune, and high octane unleaded. The C5 Z06s were running low to mid 12's at 112-117mph on the same day.

FYI: The latest Mods for the 335 has it clocking in at 11.8 @ 1/4 !!!!! The 13.7 on the BMW was terrible. It can do just about the same if not better if completly stock. Either the timing for both cars were off, or they both F'd up simultaneously. With just a Juice Box3 1.3, people are doing low 12s!!! This video doesn't justify neither of these two beasts. Especially the 335 since it's only rated 300HP out of factory.
The video is simply a POS. The person recording did not zoom in on the vette and being a black car and being a cheap ass battery it is hard to tell the difference. I owned a 07 335I and now I own a 08 C6 Z06. My bmw did a 13.6@103 in Tucson. My Z06 did a 12.0@122. That vette was probably the C6 LS2(400hp) with a bad driver and that is why it lost to the BMW. my .2c

Definately not a z06... It was a c6 ls2... 5 non-split spoke wheels give it away... And it's kind of hard to tell, I could be wrong but I think it's an automatic by how it launched, and no chirping of gears... Even the least experianced drivers can chirp gears in a stick vette...

This is has to be the most stupid title I have ever seen and totally false. No Z06 on the planet is running that time unless the track is over 5000 ft. I have made 100s of passes at Etown and that was no Z06 of any kind. even C5 Z06s trap 114-117 mph so this was odd. Stock C5 Auto, maybe. A C6 Z06 with the worse driver will hit 12s at 120+ mph. Some of these videos are misleading with the title. I caught the non Z06 in the Z06 vs EVO video as well due to the lack of nose scoop.

I agree! But not all c5 Z's are running 114-117. The 3-4th shift kills 1-2 mph in most amateur drivers, they shift low.
I run 11.30's with a 1.90 60ft, and I only trap 113.

I think that was a Z06 but not a C6 Z06 as you think. it sounds like a C5 Z06 which got 400Hp and it looks logically to me
300HP vs 400Hp but the driver of the corvette had a bad launch and still won closely. in my opinion a C5 Z06 for sure.

A V3 chip tune on a 335 will make it equal to a GT-R ... The ZR1 rapes these two cars so way would you throw the ZR1 into this mix?..... This was a race against what looked to be a stock LS2 vet circa (2005-2007) IT has the wheels of the LS2 vets and no wide fenders in back for a C6 Z06..... These 1\4 numbers look weak, really weak!!!!!!!

Even Vishnu only claims 430 hp in it's best package. The best 1/4 time I could find for a highly modified Vishnu 335i was 11.8n.
I can run 11.9 with my stock 2002 Z06 on street tires. I would rape a Vishnu 335i in a stock 2006 + Z06 with the air conditioner on. BTW - I ran a stock 335i with my wifes stock 99 C5 auto coupe and pulled it hard. No contest.

I ran 11.78 at 120.9 mph in my 335i with no engine mods besides tune, and high octane unleaded. The C5 Z06s were running low to mid 12's at 112-117mph on the same day.

The Corvette zo6's LS7, 570 hp.
But this car is heavier not heavy as viper.
I believe the Zr-1 will beat 335i

FYI: The latest Mods for the 335 has it clocking in at 11.8 @ 1/4 !!!!! The 13.7 on the BMW was terrible. It can do just about the same if not better if completly stock. Either the timing for both cars were off, or they both F'd up simultaneously. With just a Juice Box3 1.3, people are doing low 12s!!! This video doesn't justify neither of these two beasts. Especially the 335 since it's only rated 300HP out of factory.

The video is simply a POS. The person recording did not zoom in on the vette and being a black car and being a cheap ass battery it is hard to tell the difference. I owned a 07 335I and now I own a 08 C6 Z06. My bmw did a 13.6@103 in Tucson. My Z06 did a 12.0@122. That vette was probably the C6 LS2(400hp) with a bad driver and that is why it lost to the BMW. my .2c

A z06 spinning all the way down the track ran a 12.88@ like 124 or something like that, this guy just cant drive and prolly thought just because he should havethe better car he didnt have to go WOT, well he was wrong the bimmer got a nice merit badge added to his belt. I have seen the z06 run 10.80's consistently on drag radials, and saw a vid of one on slicks cut the same times. I know that the one i saw locally had no mods besides tires and a good driver. Id love to beat one bad driver or not.
