no all my children is rumor its on the guilding light board he said there is no truth to the rumor but he has went to some auditions in new york but w/e they can take there storyline and shove it and financial reasons then take other useless charachters off like grady and and cyrus and daisy please no wonder you people are so low in ratings and ive been watching for years.... look whos on the bottom someone over there aint doing something right..

It's not like John Driscoll/Coop Bradshaw was ever even an important character. He's every bit as disposable as Grady, Daisy, Cyrus and Rafe.

GL is rising in the ratings. GL has one of the best casts around. They are doing a lot of things right over there. John chose not to renew his contract with GL. The show also planned on letting him go for storyline directions. John said in an article that he wishes GL the best. He's part of Keep The Light Shining which is to keep GL around. There are no hard feelings there. As for Grady, he's gone soon. Cyrus still has the potential to be a huge character in my books.

They didn't get rid of him he quit. I heard a rumor that he quit to be on All My Children.

John Driscoll wanted to stay with GL but EW/BB decided to write him off for both storyline and financial reasons. John Driscoll joining AMC is only speculation by fans, but AMC does love casting ex-GL stars so it wouldn't surprise me.

Yeah, but over the years alot of people who started on AMC moved to GL. Daniel Cosgrove played Scott Chandler in the 1990's, and Richard Van Fleet (Ex Chuck Tyler) played Ed Bauer #4 before Peter Simon.

thank you guys though for the information i was wrong about the amc part although i really like the kind of person beth was becoming i really thought her and coop were good togethor , but now i have to say i think this is best for john cause there is better for him out there he is a good actor..

only thing I dont like is Coop being called the love of her life. Coop was right up there but I'm sorry Beth only has two loves of her life Lujack and Phillip.
