This is the Final Fantasy Main Theme. The prelude is the song wich is played in the beginning of every FF.

Example : This theme is called Staff Roll in Final Fantasy 7, it plays at the end of the game.

Ahhh...the composition that saved Square from bankruptcy...I remember first playing FFI on the NES. Tou start out with a simple prologue. next you save a Princess, and then you cross that white bridge and hear one of the more beautiful pieces of music from a video game, ever. If this song had been anything but stellar, Square may have actually vanished.

This is the Final Fantasy Theme which has been played in numerous concerts, it is indeed (and obviously) a composition by Nobuo Uematsu, dating as far back as Final Fantasy I, where it is featured for the first time when the four heroes cross the bridge upon completing the first mission. It features prominently in FFIV as Kain and Cecil leave Baron, as well as in the ending themes of FFVI, FVII, FVIII & IX. FFXII opens with a variation of this theme.
