I met Fantastic Fig on set for the Kathy Griffin show. He did his card tricks with us while we were waiting around and I assure you, it's not staged! I have no idea how he does it. He's excellent and I would definitely hire him (and Newton) for a party.

He was my boss before and he's the most eccentric man I've ever met. I had one of the most interesting times of my iife working for Fig. He was a very successful attorney in Hollywood and we had celebrities coming out of our ears, and they all loved him. They're independent and have too much of a mind of their own, and they're extremely difficult to train. That cat just sat there the hole time and cooperated. Why are magicians always portrayed as weird old people? Us magicians first off know better tricks than "hey watch while I find your card out of my memorized deck" and "look I can palm a card and take it out from behind my cats ear!" these were some of the easiest tricks I have ever seen. He should not have gotten a yes.

I can't believe people disliked the dance part — it was so ingenious (even though not completely original or uncommon). While the card trick was pretty great, the dance part was absolutely HILARIOUS and hence very entertaining.

It wasn't the dancing itself, it was the concept of dancing at that point. Obviously, that sort of thing only works once.

Yeah the positioning of her shirt changed. The camera just reversed the picture, not a huge deal. @3:35, you can see that on HER left is a dark skinned individual, when in the normal picture, said individual is on her right.

I know his trick he memorized his deck so well he can give the judges their cards in a matter is seconds. His cat trick was that while he was shuffling he took the card and raised it up to his cats ear if you rewatch 2:23 over and over you can find that he pulled it up really quick. His dance trick was....the ladies.
