i do not think i have ever in my life seen such beautiful but scary shots. here in the united states even twister alley doesnt get something like this. i think i know where my carrer is going to start guess where. Darwin, NT, AU
Love Darwin, get up there as often as I can and love the storms. My next trip up will be for the last 2 weeks in Oct, so am hoping for some early action this year!
Thanks Rannveig2 and nice to hear from fellow Territorians - you're still one you know, you can't get that out of your blood that easy. Keep in touch eh, would be good to catch up if you ever return for a holiday during the wet!
Indeedy Geisha. Things on the improve is seems and no shortage of storms! My new video being put together now with some of the more recent 'flangs'! Drop me an email one day!
best regular storms in the country, but not the most severe. November is classified as the month for the frequent severe storms due to transition of dry to buildup to wet season. All months are good for storms in between monsoonal troughs however - 90 thunderstorm days is the norm for Darwin.

Wet or dry Darwin always has the best weather. Unfortunately I live 3000km south, and the weather here sucks, even in summer its not that good.
