The smart meter program is nothing short of criminal and must be stoped .I live in BC Canada and we are doing what we can including protest as well. My meter is locked and so is my yard but a meter reader can see the meter . I will stand my ground and keep them out.
To Julieoftheearth - I've worked with doctors (and am a nutritionist) all my adult life. The AMA is "in bed" with the drug companies and every other money-making entity with regard to "medical"...they would welcome being overwhelmed with medical cases...that's where the big money is...what do they do...try to figure out why everyone's getting sick? No. Not at all. They build more wings onto hospitals. This coming from someone who has sat in on meeting after meeting with doctors.
It's going to take the AMA to come down on these smartmeters after the cancer rate, diabetes etc... overwhelm the medical system. It will take one giant to the next to do our bidding is my gut reaction. In the meantime, yes, we need to say no. We are all in this together and this is Nazi Germany, except we are all the undesirables.
I moved in with my parents in April, a strong, active 57 year old. Within days I started noticing depression, extreme weakness, and tiredness beyond anything I had ever experienced before. My bed would "buzz" several times a day. My elderly husband has begged me to remove him from our bedroom, he feels like he's plunging towards death, he feels so much worse than he did before we moved into this house. Then we found out that SDG&E had installed a "Smart Meter", right at the head of our bed.
@btancredi1 make an official complaint with your attny generals office ,ur city hall,and the public utility commision.we need moer complaints on file.u can do all of this online

I already complained to SDG&E (lot of good that did), then to the consumer affairs that SDG&E said I could complain to (told them I felt like I was asking wolves to guard my hen house, though). Believe me, I'm complaining up a storm. But yes....I will do all of the above as well. Thank you!
I just wrote a letter to the surgeon general! great thinking....maybe if we all flood it there will be a better response than what we've been getting... our home was installed with a smart meter without my or my husbands knowledge or consent..... literally while we were out to the store for an hour..... and shortly thereafter i've started getting headaches, dizzy spells, and now heart palpitations that made my heart feel like it was this buzzing crushing force..... crazy.... so scary
In Miami Fl I stopped them from putting one in my yard. Well they never did it but Im sure it went somewhere close. This is crazy, these people are right.
