Yes I agree. Her voice is not the same as on The Divine Punishment, Saint of The Pitt and neither on most recent works as Malediction and Prayer. But I think this is an inescapable fact because sh's about 55 years. This is normal: also Maria Callas' voice was less powerfull when she were not so young. Diamanda's voice it's a bit less spreaded but is always 4 octave. It's always exciting and resounding. Diamanda Galas makes me dream and her voice is always echoeing in my soul.

I love the vocal wisdom that comes with age, particularly for a woman...this is true for Chavela Vargas, as a youth her voice was extremely powerful but "immature" by her own confession. now her voice is extremely coarse, and "old" and she prefers it this way...I think the same is seen here. Diamanda's voice is that same powerful voice, but with age, more haunting yet!
