  • He left out the part where the lunch only exists in the first place because of the government

  • @override367 hahahahhaha thats funny, tell me another one

  • The sad part is that lots of people actually act like taxes are really that simple.

  • @w35m4n Actually, it really is.

  • @bambam2384 The government doesn't just take taxes and then do nothing with them. I'm not a big government person so I'm not gonna sit here and say that the amount of government we have now is good, but it's pretty silly to actually say that all they do is take it and then it's gone and nothing useful comes out of it.

  • @w35m4n More good would be done if it was not stolen in the first place. That what it boils down to. Enjoy the wars, bailouts, 'stimulus', forced redistribution, and the endless encroachment on your life. Enjoy a system that revolves around force and theft rather than cooperation. Just because you get a fraction of the investment back in some form doesn't mean its a good investment.

  • @bambam2384 I'm an anarchist, I never said it was preferable.

  • @w35m4n True anarchy would actually require a totally free market where nobody is permitted to use force against anybody. Market anarchy.

  • @bambam2384 I disagree as I don't see why a non-market system such as a gift economy couldn't be anarchist.

  • This should be shown to every civics class in the country!

  • Ron Paul. The candidate Ron Swanson would vote for.

  • Which did he not take all and explained to here that this is how unregulated free market works. The one with money and power can do what they like. And the small cannot do anything about it.

  • @andjack Im sorry, is our government not doing the very thing you claim people on the free market would do? Basically anything they want, because they have all the money and power? And are we small people not hopeless to do anything considering they are the only ones who can use force?

Stop projecting. Power centers and coercion do not exist in a free market anywhere near to the extent they exist in government.

  • @bambam2384 power crorrupts, governments and companies.

But the goal of the two is different, which is why you are wrong.

Companies one and only goal is to get money. Nothing else.

If there are no money in something, there are no company there to do a shit.

So, there are no money in schooling the poor, so there would be no schools there, at all, if it wasn't for government. Because governments is about schooling, health care, security and justice, for all.

  • @bambam2384 but that doesn't mean that the governmnets can't be better at this. They could. But to be able to do these things, they need foundings. Which they get from taxes.

By the way, in a world like the one Ron Paul, there is no schooling, health care, security and justice for poor, as they can't pay, so they don't get any.

So in his world, it is ok for poor, children, elder alike, to die on streets. That is not ok in my.

  • @andjack "By the way, in a world like the one Ron Paul, there is no schooling, health care, security and justice for poor, as they can't pay, so they don't get any. So in his world, it is ok for poor, children, elder alike, to die on streets. That is not ok in my."

That is just wrong, and you are blatantly lying and demagouging. These things can (and have been) provided in the past without your sacred govt help.

  • @andjack False. If there were no government schools, there WOULD be money in schooling the poor. It would be a need and entrepreneurship would address it. We see that today with charter schools emerging.

Your idea of government is laughable at best. The purpose of government is not to be your sugar daddy providing everything for you. It SHOULD be to uphold your rights as a human and your property. However, morons like you think you can use govt FORCE to make an ideal society. Pathetic.

  • Just before this scene, Ron says "It's never too early to learn that the government is a greedy piglet that suckles on a taxpayer's teet until they have sore, chapped nipples."

  • The best thing I've ever seen!

  • Haha if one scene could describe my obsession with Ron Swanson, it would be this one!! "UH OH, Capital Gains Tax"
